Breast Band

Hi Ladies,
I’m 2 days post op, had 425cc unders and during my pre op was told I would have strapping, woke up after surgery and I’m in a breast band. How long did you have to have it on for? And did you wear a sports bra also?

i am in one too, got told up to 6 weeks but hopefully my boobs drop enough that it can come off earlier. it’s working wonders though so i think they’re well worth wearing 🙂 xx

Hey chic. My nurse told me to keep the breast band on for 6 weeks! I wear it over my macom bra, happy healing!!! Xxx

6 weeks seems so long! Did you find it more comfortable having the band on top of the sports bra? Thank you girls

Alot more comfortable, only annoying thing is sometimes it really makes me itch!! X

yeah it’s not so itchy having it on top of your sports bra, got less marks on my boobs from having it on top xx

Yea deffo chic, i take mine off for a couple of hours, when showering obv then pop it back on after xxx

I’m sure I’ve been told but I can’t remember what is the breast band for? Why do some people have to wear it and others don’t? I have one on, one of the things I wanted was increased fullness on the top of my boobs and I feel like the band is flattening them down and pushing the implant towards the bottom? Xx

Abbie, the breast band is to help them drop, my nurse said those who have had unders will need the breast band xxx

yeah i had to send pictures to my nurse to double check but after a while it becomes natural to readjust it yourself and be able to take it off for a couple of minutes to clean and get comfy xx

i had to wear mine for 4 weeks and i hated it but it really helps!
i wore mine on top of my sports bra as thats what the nurse told me to do. it cut in under my arms so i tucked socks in lol xx
