Breast band or no breast band

So have just got my pj’s on and had a quick check of my slightly wonky boobs, and here’s what I’m worried about – both boobs have a ridge between the nipples and the incision, like the implant is resting on top of the breast tissue rather than it settling in. One side is high and round and the other is lower and flatter at the sides. It almost seems like the implants are in different places in each side. So, does it sound like the immplants haven’t settled, and should they have done by now? Should I invest in a breast band to try and get them settling more at the bottom or is it too late? They are high and rounded at the top but there is no matching roundness at the bottom. Help!!!

Oh, and I’m 6 weeks post op

i think the breast band is the surgeons choice??? i had to wear one for 2 weeks, kinda like the tape thing.. not sure it would help now as i pushes them down unless thats what you need?? x

I seem to be all top boob and no bottom boob, so I’m not sure. He seemed to think they were ok at 4 weeks but I am not su sure now as they just don’t seem to be budging, the asymmetry is starting to really notice now

Hi Hun. I had to wear one at 2 wks PO. My surgeon told me to wear it and Mya ordered me one. I didnt pay for it they did but they are about £19.00. I wouldnt wear one unless your surgeon advises it. Ring your pc and ask her if needs be see your surgeon and explain. If he thinks you should wear one then they should order you one. Good luck. Im now 5 wks po and my right is lower now than my left.lol.xx

I’d agree with the above too, ring ur pc if they think u need one ill post u mine if ud like? But check first xx

Hi Princess sorry to hear about this! I think I know what you mean about the ridge thing at the bottom too – I have this but Im putting it down to the healing process. If you are really worried about your boobs being wonky etc I would make an appointment to see your surgeon. You had your checkup very early days and in my opinion this is far too early to write someone off and give them the all clear. You are only going to worry about it because I know I would. Give them a call hun. Good Luck xx

P.s. I think you’re boobies look fab from your photos but it’s totally different when you’re living with them so it’s no good us telling you that x
