I’ve had my online consultation and I’m waiting to meet Dr Lutz in a few weeks to have the consultation with her. I was feeling really positive throughout the online consultation until we started discussing medical history. My mum passed away from breast cancer when I was 15 and her mother also died from this. I brought this up and was told I might have to have the genetic testing to see if I have the breast cancer gene.
I’m wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and whether this affected their surgery?
