Breast feeding with implants

Hi guys I had my boobs done in Aprill 2011 then Shockingly found out I was pregnant during the summer, I’m 36 weeks now Nd I am planning on breast feeding , my surgeon Dr Chantrassak said I’ll have no problem feeding , however I was just wondering if anyone else has breast fed with implants and what their boobs looked like after feeding xxx

hey! congrats on the baby, so exciting!! do u know what ur having? sorry though i cant answer either of ur Qs i got my boobs done after bfeeding, but i am a bfeeding support worker so if u have any Qs once babys here feel free to send a wee msg id b happy to help good for u doing it, im sure ur boobs will b fine after the feeding..my friend got hers done and fell preg the same month, she didnt bfeed the baby but her boobs wern’t affected by the pregnancy they r still perfect!

Just make sure u do lots of skin to skin and bringing baby to the breast, try and avoid dummys the 1st 6 weeks if u can coz the only problem implants can cause is the supply of milk, sometimes it can reduce it. but if u do lots of feeds in the 1st 6weeks (espesh at night, there are more hormones to boost milk supply then) this will set up ur milk supply to its best! its bcoz there r wee receptors that control the amount of milk produced are not stimulated will shut down after 6wks, so if u had twins more of these wee receptor things would kick into use than if u were just feeding 1 baby so the 1st few weeks r important for successful feeding! Did u have over or unders?XX

Hey Hun, Ive breast fed with implants. I had my BA in feb ’03 then had my little boy aug’08. I breast fed for around a year, I didn’t get any stretch marks, I used loads of bio oil! My boobs did get quite big n then shrunk again after I’d stopped feeding n so are not has firm as they once were but they’re really not that bad to say I had them done 9yrs ago! charlie do you have pics up? im planning on having another kid in around 3 years time, iv just had my BA, and would love to know what can happen to them, as im worried i may want a re-op soon after, something im dreading i know in time i will need a re-op, but id rather have it later then after another sproglet xx

Aww thank u I’m very excited now. I had overs so originally thought i Wouldn’t b ale to breast feed but dr C reassured me and said there’s no problem… I don’t mind them changing a little anyways as I actually luv the look of natural big boobs so the more natural they look the better…. I’ve used loads of bio oil but still got stretch marks from having the ba , but I was so small before op I did expect them tbh luckily my belly is stretch mark free from pregnancy which I was worried about , can’t b doing with a stretch marked stomach and boobs ….

Went to a breast feeding antenal class yesterday nd learnt so much I’m so determined to do it , but I , just know it’ll b something il need to persevere with…

Aww good luck I hope everything goes well for u! It can be a little bit tricky at first but before long u will be doing it in ur sleep lol! x
