Breast implant illness 🤷

Hey has anyone ever read anything about breast implant illness I’ve randomly just come across a horror story of people getting implants and becoming I’ll does any one know if there surgeons mentioned this to them or not ? Xx

My surgeon did mention it to me but there is no evidence at the moment to show a solid link between implants and the symptoms x

My PC mentioned it on my very first consultation, she said she’d worked there 30 years and never seen it happen, very rare x

I was told by plastic surgeon although there is no actual evidence that there are lots of woman who claim to have similar symptoms and they vanish once the implants are removed. He said he could not say one way or the other whether it was 100% caused by the implants. He did tell me to look into it as well as breast implant associated cancer which they now admit does come from textured implants

That sounds good that she’s not seen it happen in the 30 years that she’s worked there but can help but worry when you hear stuff like that especially when I’m due to have mine done in a week’s time

That’s sounds pretty awful how some people get it 😬
it’s very strange how that happens
I knew about the cancer thing but just not the breast implant illness
Am sure it’ll be fine there millions over women having them done every day isn’t there so I’m going to put it to the back of my mind and not worry myself anymore 🙈xx
