Just wondered what people thought about getting Breast Implants replaced after 10years? Do they recommend for you to do this or do they last a lifetime?

Just been researching abit but can’t find much about it :( also does anyone have any info on how much it will cost for replacement implants? xxx

I think that would depend totally on how the individual feels about their breast,I have heard that some women have had implants for over 10 years, and they are still happy with them,as for the cost honey,I would just pick up the phone and ask MYA.

i have read there meant to last up to 20 years but some last as long as 30 so like tina has put its up to how you feel they look ect xx

I thought they last forever in your body just like tina said most girls get replaced at 10 years just because they are not happy with them anymore, thats what I got told by my surgeon anyway :) xx

I have had mine done 10yrs, had 300’s over n am going for another as they have dropped quite alot plus I had a child during that time. Am going for 700’s this time round n due to size the cost is around £5k hun, they do generally cost more for a re-aug.

They do last a lifetime but it really depends if u r still happy with them, I know people who have a re-aug after 2yrs as they want to go bigger n I know others who r still happy with theirs after 18yrs.

    Xx

I think many years ago they used to advise u got them changed after 10 years but now mist implants r ok for 25. Not sure if the MYA implants can that was a question I was going to ask Mario on my appointment.

Like the girls said, in ten years r Shape can change and we may have babies which can make them drop ect so most girls would decided to have them redone I think xx

I personally would, everything has a shelflife

also I opted for a more natural size to avoid stretch marks and will go up in 10 yrs or under :) like replacing a car!
