I had a breast reduction with Helena on 27th of March. I was pleased that she understands what you are looking to achieve. When I had my dressing changed last Tuesday I was expecting to see a lot of bruising & the scars to be awful at first but I was surprised by how well I was healing & the neatness of her work. My only downside is that I have reacted to the new dressing they put on and was itching severely and even had blistering on my skin (not my scars). Luckily my hubby is a medic so he treated me as it is Easter and I cannot get the dressings removed until Tuesday.
I was also really nervous beforehand and kept questioning if I was doing the right thing. I just remember how unhappy I was with the way I looked before and now I am looking ahead to when I can embrace my new look – once I can get back to full mobility, sleep properly, bathe properly and not have any discomfort :0)
