Breathing tube inserted under general?????

Just wanted to know if they insert a tube. while having

BA under general aneastetics?

Yeah you do, had mine done yesterday but you won’t even notice Hun. They put it in and take it out whilst you are asleep so you won’t feel anything xx

The GA is a really nice experience, don’t worry about it. The cannula doesn’t hurt (i didn’t even feel mine go in) and you just drift off to sleep while they chat to you. When you wake up you will have the tube down your throat for about 30 seconds while they check you can breathe on your own then slide it out, give you a drink and you are fine! All easy peasy You will be in the recovery room and then they wheel you straight up to your room and you stay there. xx

Had my op yesterday and can’t remember any tube ha, all I can remember is a lovely sleep and waking up with the lovely men around me from highgate hospital then they wheeled me back into my room. I was so nervous going down but the guys relaxed me by being so friendly!!! You will be fine good luck xx

no probs scarlett, best of luck with your operation darling, keep us posted Oh and i was super nervous despite having had a few GA’s (was nervous about the result not the operation) but they staff are so nice and really do help you relax. Before you know it you’ll be waking up from a refreshing nap with bigger boobies! Best dream ever!!! x

I can’t remember there being a tube in my mouth, just had a funny taste in my mouth, and still have it now, 2 days po xxx
