Bristol??

Hi, I’m still just researching into a ba at the mo & Bristol is my closest clinic- just wondered if any one had any stories (good or bad!) from having it done there??

I’m from Bristol but they carry out procedures in Highgate hospital, London.

All consultations and after-care in Bristol though.

Haven’t had my op yet (its 31st August) but my consultations with PC and surgeon have gone well.

hey im from bristol, the clinic is fab they are all lovely and look after you but unfortunately all ops are carried out in highgate london if you go to the bristol clinic. Angel xx

I go for my post op appointment tommorow to get my dressings off i will let u no how it goes, look out for my post. So far my pc has been amazing and my nurse always ringing me and checking on me, i’m closer with my pc as she has had hers done aswell, her names Amy. xx

Ah I didn’t realise they didnt actually do the procedure there…although London isn’t too hard for me to get to- I’m from Swindon too Lublu! Do you know how long you usually have to wait for an initial consultation? I’ll probably book a day off work to go

Hi there, im at Bristol my pc is Amy and i have Dr Chantarasak who done Amys BA. Amy is Fab, very easy to get to clinic homely, seeing surgeon on saturday and will see Amy after to sort out date for me as im doing the late space option saves £600 so thats good if you are flexible does anyone know how quick that can be if doing late space, Lublu where are you seeing Dr C? Bristol? x

Kittykat- MYA asked me when id like a consultation so i told them a day and approx time and they fitted me in. Think they’re pretty flexible

Hi everyone, my PC is Amy too, see seams nice i asked her so many questions about her boobs at the consultation i think i spent more time talking to her boobs than her lol! She said that she didnt have a bra on and i just remember thinking omg how nice that would be to go out without hinching them up. Kittykat you would not need to take the day off day as the consultation only lasts about half and hour it is only a chat they dont look at your boobs or anything like that just there to answer any questions you might have. once you book in to day a surgeon i think that appointment will be longer and that is when you have them looked at. Were about is Swindon do you some from? I am in West Swindon. How long have you been thinking of having this done? x

Hey Amy is amazing and has been so supportive since my ba; always ringing and texing exspesh when i had the complication (on my story post) i rang her up crying when i got home from highgate, i was in soo much agony and she made me feel so much better.she is so lovely, she texts me evryday and if i have any questions she answers strait away. i went for my post op apointment today amy was lovely and made me feel great complimenting my new boobies : ) i also seen my nurse and had my dressings taken off, luckily she said my boobs look great and are healing quickly, and mr fallahday has done my incisions so tiny under the crease u can’t really see them so i am chuffed. she just put a tiny plaster thing over the incisions so it doesnt rub on my bra, and i can take them off on sunday angel xx

Hey Lublu, can you try to get on here after seeing Dr C tomorrow and let me know how you get on, im really worried about going i have gone into panic mode lol and its only chat and trying on some boobs ha, Good Luck for tomorrow :)xx

Hey 22ks, i had my pre-op medical today with the nurse and saw Amy too who woz helpful as ever coz im stil unsure on size.

My op is on 31st August (6 weeks and half wks! lol).

Kittykat- u def won’t need any longer for seeing the surgeon than u do for ur consultation, especially if ur seeing Dr C!! Hes very straight to the point and i was in and out in about 5minutes! lol
