Burning accross tummy tuck scar…normal??

Hi,

Had my tummy tuck Tuesday, and haven’t really suffered with pain expect when I first came too in theatre.

Yesterday I moved around a bit and went downstairs and stayed there for the evening but this morning I have woken up to burning all along the stitches area and it hurt just to walk to the toilet.

Does anyone know if this is the norm? I’ve just dosed myself up with pain relief but I’ve only had this feeling while moving around not lying still. I’d have thought it would be getting better by now not worse (

I didnt have a tummy tuck but had this with my c section scar, it was worse in the mornings xx

Thanks Nikki, do you remember how long it lasted for? It’s died off a bit now I’ve had pain killers, but I didn’t know whether I’d over done e moving around yesterday, or whether I’d done some damage when I coughed – double ouch!!!xx

Coughing and laughing made me feel like my insides were gonna fall out lol, as for the burning the first week was thr worst after that it subsided xx
