jus wondering if any1 has had both section and uplift and enlargement and can tell me which is more painful? jus so i know wot 2 expect
thanks
Ive had 2 C-sections lol! cant compare at mo tho because wont be having my ba until 1st July but i would defo say the c-section would be worse! at least with the Ba you get to be put to sleep! x
i had section and normal ba (no uplift) section deffo worse. xx
Ooooo my mate has had both! She said both are painfull BUT the uplift was easier to cope with as she didn’t think she was ‘going to pop open with every step she took’…..her words not mine
xx
ahhh thanks girls so far so good! wih my section was in agony 4 1st few days but after a week i was feelin pretty good again jus had 2 take it easy, and thats with jus paracetamol as wudnt give me anything else cos was breastfeeding! if i know its not as bad i wont be so nervous!haha plus ill take everything they offer this time! true klill25 least we can wake up n all be over
From what my mate says the c section is worse cause of the positioning of the scar
come on now, we’ve given birth ladies, some through c sections and some through err well we all know were hehe…..we’re hard as nails and we’ll all be fine
xx
hahaha! i used 2 be such a wuss wiv things but after having my section thought rite thats it im gna go 4 the boob job iv always wanted but been too scared 2 do!! xx
From what ive been told ive been lucky having 2 c-sections and not having to give birth! although my massive scar tells a different story lolx
my scars pretty big as well!! only been 6 months tho im sure it will fade more.. hope so! u never rly know which is hardest unless uv done both…hehe xxx
Giving birth bloody well hurts!!! I seriously thought I was dying lol I may of been in ago for a few days afterwards etc but couldn’t Imagine having to look after a baby after having an operation!!! You wouldn’t be expected to look after a child after say having your appendix out! It must be SO hard!! Xx
i guess u can either have al the pain at once by givin birth or have it afterwards n prolongin it wiv a section… either way its gna be tuff! poor us women eyy…lol was very hard espesh breastfeedin after a section had 2 do it al on my own, lifting baba up was the worst id think my tummy was gna burst open yikes!! lol xx
Yeah that’s what my mate said, I was wincing for her!! That’s what I mean tho, any other op were the incision is on your stomach they’d say no lifting!!! But with a c section you have to lift……granted I couldn’t pee and walked like John Wayne but at least I wasn’t scared of busting my stomach open!!! Xx
Oh god I’m scared of sections, I’ve given birth naturally twice with no pain relief and I’d do it again 10 times over rather than have a section they really scare me for some reason and don’t get me wrong it hurt like hell but I’d rather do it that way everytime lol! From what I read and hear ba’s don’t cause much pain more discomfort but everyone is different X
Ha ha Jen I couldn’t wee 1st time cos of grazes X
I’m with Stacey!!! I’ve never understood people who say that c sections are the easy way!!! My big bum are they the easy way, I think I’d be hysterical being told someones about to CUT MY BABY OUT!!! I don’t know how you ladies do it!!!!! Xx
Seriously I had to pour a jug of water over it when I peed! It was like razor blades!!!! Lol xX
haha! i had to have a section 4 medical reasons but 4 sum reason im terriried of givin birth n wud stil choose another section!! how strange.. i think its the unknown! yeah u dnt av time 3 recver ur made 2 get up the day after hav a shower (nearly collapsed lol) n see 2ur baby al day n nite with no help! so ya see now i thinkj well iv been thru a scetion i can get thru anything
haha but secretly jelous of al u ladies that av beem able 2 feel birth naturally! il always wonder!xx
Lol!!! Feeling a baby coming out of your lady bits ain’t natural, you missed nothing!! I was certainly not at peace with the world when it happened, the most important part of having your baby is when they hand them over to you, that’s the only bit that matters!!! Xx
hehehehehe!! mad me giggle that huni! hav 2 say i remember how amazing it felt seeing my baby but was so out of it n i cudnt hold her till out of theatre.. u feel everythin thats goin on down ther its mad u can feel the tugging around its not gentle but therz jus no pain its very weird!! well roll on 8wks now so i can get it out the way n recover in time 4 summer!!
O I felt it all!!!!! Mines 11…..I haven’t had another one, apparently you forget about the pain but I didn’t lol xx
I thought my c-section was a breeze compared to having an uplift and implants…sorry, i don’t mean to put anyone off – just being honest x
I had emergency c-sec due to carrying identical twins who came 2 months prem! So not only did I have a section I had no time to recover as my twins were in special care unit at hospital. I was 7cm dia that pain was enough for me! I would choose c-sEc again if I got pg again as the contraction & being 6/7cm was sooooooooo painful! Couldn’t imagine managing the pain of fully dia and birth! Ahhhhhh!
So to answer question! (I didn’t have uplift tho) having BA was a breeze compared to c-sec!
& c-sec was a breeze compared to o natural! (in my experience) lol
Also special care was on 5th floor of hospital which was 30mins from home so lots of travel & walking back and fore! Still spent 10 hours every day at the hospital with my twins tho.
SORRY to ramble. Lol
Good luck with BA…x
I had a c-section 4 and a half years ago and remember the pain to be unreal…off for a tummy tuck a week today to get rid of my over hang that the section has left me! xx
my c-section was easy, i was up and about in 3 days…discharged myself from hospital after two days, i must have been one of the lucky ones! xx
good to hear every1s different views
kirsties espesh helpful seen as uv experienced it all!lol good to compare things it rly helps i find… either way its gna be bludy awful but will be worth it in the long run im sure! jo how was the pain different n in wot ways was it harder? i mean i cud hardly lift myself up 4 the first few days but i ,ade myself. ive friend requested u too hun wud love to see sum more uplift pics as im so worried about the scarring? pls cud i hav a lil look
melissa i think that will be me next!haha cnt seem 2 get rid of this overhang… jus wont seem 2 tone anymore!xx
I had an emergency section with my second little one. I was in no where near the pain and discomfort with my uplift and enlargement as I was with my section!I had nearly pushed my daughter out myself after 24 hours of labour, so by the time they decided to do the section I was exhausted and that did not help with my recovery! My daughter is 18 months now and my scar is looking great so that gives me hope for my uplift scars!
You’ll be fine jasmine, it is totally worth it. Have a look at my pics if you like xxx
thanks tiarastara jus had a luk now ther lukin fab! thanks 4 sharin too
they say the scars round n down the nipple fade next 2 nothing dont they? i think its more of a wory wen ur having an uplift too.. how ru feeling now? thats wot i thought with a section u rly feel every little movement bcos its ur stomach. i remember i cudnt laff 4 weeks haha gud 2 hear this xx
I just found my uplift really painful jasmine – it was a lot worse than i expected, especially the first 2 weeks, having said that a lot of the other uplift girls i’v spoken to didn’t think it was too bad so i’m sure you will be fine…I’m not bothered at all about my scars – its just the in between bit where you wait for the scabs to fall off that i don’t like – they just look horrible, although they are getting better now! My c-section scar is barely visible but it was 13 years ago since i had my son so its had a long time to heal lol! I’v added you hun xx
Jen I had to do the water thing aswel and they told me to drink loads of water so it wasn’t as potent lol, I was that scared of weeing that I hardly drank anythin which made it hurt more when I did it was awful! Some people are lucky like you jo and can get on with it after a couple of days but then you were an unlucky one after your ba and lift and were in a lot of pain. It just shows how different everyone is with different procedures but like Jasmine said it’s the unknown that scares people more than anything I k ow that’s what scares me anyway X
Your exactly right Stacey, everyone’s pain threshold and recovery is different! I reckon it was payback time for me when i had my uplift lol! It really knocked me for six xx
