Can all POST OP girls please answer this for me…..I'm confused!

What week did you all see your surgeon for a check up. I’m getting so confused as some girls did it at 4 weeks, I thought it was 6 weeks, but when I text my PC last night to ask, she said it was 12 weeks. 12 weeks seems along time to wait to see the surgeon. Can anyone tell me what the correct time frame is please as Ive made an appointment to go for my 6 week check with the nurse, should I be seeing my surgeon too? xx

Hi Hun I think it varies with different surgeons I have been told 6 weeks

That’s the same with me too. I thought I’d be seeing my surgeon at 6 weeks but the nurse said I’ll be seeing her at 6 weeks and the surgeon at 12 weeks. It does seem like a long time. What surgeon did you have? xx

Thanks girls, I had Mario Russo. Another girl had Mario and she went for hers at 4 weeks! 3 months feels like ages away. xx

I had mario too. I know 3 months is ages away. Can the nurse give you the all clear for wearing normal bras? xx

I’m not post op, but am flying to UK for my op im May, having a one week check and then flying at 2 weeks…won’t be back again until sept…my PC said it’ll be fine then x

Yes I believe so, she told me the last time I saw her that I’m healing well for 2 weeks post op and all being well she thinks she’ll give me the all clear at 6 weeks for normal bras. So yes I think they can give the all clear.

My concern is that even though they are good nurses, surely they arent as skilled as the actual surgeon as to whether your boobs have dropped into place and settled correctly, or anything else less obvious to the eye. I’m sure it’s it’ll be ok, just wanted to get to see him at 6-8 weeks. But we’ll just have to be patient! xx

Oh good I don’t think I could cope with wearing a sports bra for 3 months lol. I know what you mean, sure it’s will be ok though but I’m not very good at being patient haha. Do you mind if I add you ginag? How many weeks po are you? xx

does any1 no how long they had 2 wait 2 see mr fallahdar? after my op he z he would see me in a week! i thought i seen the nurse a 7days post op app..confused x

God! So many different time frames or everybody! Well at least I no I’m not waiting longer than I should be!

And thanks Cazz, I’m so pleased, he’s changed my life lol! He’s done an amazing job considering what I had to start with! Just had a peek at your pics, they look so natural, looks like your way beyond 17 days already! Super Mario saved our boobies! He he xx

Thanks ginag I love having boobs I was completely flat no breast tissue what so ever. He definitely save my boy boobs haha xx

I saw the nurse 1 week, 2 weeks, and 3 weeks post op, then Mario at 5 1/2 weeks and I’m discharged!!!! I’m not getting a 6 month and 12 month check, they just asked me ring if I had any problems…is this normal? xx

hey hun i saw nurse at 1 wk and saw mario on tues (4 wks)he gave me the go ahead to wear normal bras and he said i dont have to see him again either unless i want to spk to him about anythin. I was under the impression that we would see him again at around 6mnths! xx
