Can always rely on google to scare me!

I asked my PC if breast cancer is still easily detected with implants and she said yes but I’ve done the stupid thing of googling and seen on an American website that although implants don’t cause cancer, they can make it hard to detect as tumours can be behind the implant! It also said rupturing is very likely down the line! Does anyone know anything about this??? Xx

I wouldn’t read everything you read on google. Just remember mya are a very reputable company and if it caused a massive problem they wouldn’t be allowed to put implants in. Keep smiling hun I had this mad panic a week ago lol xxx

It’s only more difficult to detect because you may not necessarily feel the lump when you do your regular checks but there are other ways of detecting tumours. Ask your nurse about mammography xx
