    hi girls

This was mentioned in my consult but just wondered if anyone knows anymore about it. Or if they have suffered with it after BA.

i am having overs and believe it is more common in overs!!

My friends rippled and it was because she lost a lot of weight dramatically after the BA, so the rippling is loose skin around the implant! She had to have the BA done again and have unders!!

Hey guys, I’m having 350cc overs on 5th Sept and am really worried about it… The whole over under thing is stressing me out… Ive heard and read that overs is just “easy” and they ripple when you bend over and you can feel them when touched!!! I’m really stressing! can you tell me what yours are like now after the op.. X

You don’t need loose skin to get rippling. It is when you see and/or feel the wrinkles in the implant. It’s more common in overs and those that don’t have much breast tissue x

Go for unders if you get the choice, less chance of rippling x

I was told that losing weight was not a good marriage for new implants. I told Mr Traynor I wanted to lose some weight and he said I MUST lose it before having them done, otherwise you risk rippling. With the over/under thing, I think it all depends on the amount of breast tissue you start with. Like others say, if you don’t have much to start with they will likely advise unders as otherwise you get more of the fake look (think victoria beckham before she had hers removed). If you have more tissue to start with they will sit under that but over the muscle so you won’t see them, probably like princesskitty said. I’ve had a battle with this decision too but was told I definitely didn’t need unders. Listen to what they advise you x

Hey I had 340 unders from not very much breast tissue at all! I was told by the nurse I “wouldnt”get it with my size implant. But u never know. If I lean forward I can feel what I’d call rippling but the nurse at my 6 wk check said the above n it was the implant settling in. U can’t c mine to the eye just feeling it, hubby can’t c or feel it says I’m making it up :) so hey. If it is I’m not bothered as u can’t c it n my bra would cover it. :/ c what happens later on down the line. Xx

hi, im 10wks po and can feel rippling cleavage side of both breasts, although the right 1 is worse than the left and i had unders, it feels weird but it isnt visable, im hoping it stays that way or goes altogether but im doubting that.

guess its a small price to pay tho anythings better than what i had before. x
