Hi guys.
So I’m pod10, and I’m wondering if anyone can recommend a supportive sports bra other than the macom. I have a macom bra but struggle when I get cold so would like something with a little bit of padding as I go back to work on Tuesday.
I have purchased a sport bra from Sainsbury’s but I’m not sure if it gives me enough support.
Thanks guys xx
Hey I had my pre op yesterday and the nurse told me M&S ones are really good and so soft and comfertable xx
Hey, I tried the m&s angel ones and found they cut in at the top of my breasts. My favourite is a medium support sports bra from new balance I wore for running before my op. It is tight and keeps them in place.
Shock absorber is good and front zip fastener
There’s a nice one I’ve got from JD sports that covers quite a lot and has a lot under the bust material that was £15 and one popular one on here from EBay that’s pritty basic but comes in 5 colours and is only about £5.00
Thanks ladies! I’m going to order some tonight ???? Xx
The extra high impact sports bra from m&s is the other bra that a lot of surgeons recommend. personally I wouldn’t risk wearing one of the cheaper ones as the support may not be as good and it gives me peace of mind to be wearing something that is definitely surgeon recommended 🙂 xx
Hi ladies
For those of you who have bought bras other than macom did you buy before surgery and how did you know what size to get?
I would recommend the M&S sports bra as that’s all i’ve used since my op – I just bought one in the same band size I usually am and then bought the cup size in what my surgeon told me i would be and that has worked out fine, I did buy another in a band and cup size bigger but found that I didn’t need it – just be sure to keep the tags on so you can take it back after xx
