can i lay down in bed day 4 post op !!!!!!!!

been propped up on sofas all day all night starting to get bum n back ache severe ! surly i can go to bed !!

please advise people !

I laid down last night that was my day 4 hadn’t been told I could but I ended up propping myself back up slightly wasn’t fully up as wasn’t comftable laid flat in my back. Xxx

at my week post op today the nurse said i could lie down more but still not fully yet…also i could lie on my side now as long as i change sides every so often. wouldnt lie down fully yet but maybe try less pillows?? xx

Nikki I laid down a bit more day 3 not completely flat but ye dnt need to sleep sitting up!xx

im gonna try me bed out tonight and still prop up a bit with extra pillows cant hack the sofas no more ! x

my V pillow is a god send!!! Actually love it, deffo will use it after anyways just coz it’s so comfy.. If you invest in one thing for recovery it has to be one of these! a tenner well spent!

Still dying to sleep on my front though!

I’m still pre-op and tried out my v pillow since it came in the post, i was so comfy propped up in my bed, that instead of studying, i promptly fell asleep and didnt move until morning!

Hope its stays this comfy when the boobies come!
