Can I lay on down now?!!

I’m 7 days post op, can I lay on my back now instead of sleeping right??!!

I hope the answer to this is yes …..?x

I went to my 1 week post op appointment yesterday and although I was 10 days post op she said I could lay down now and didn’t need to be at a 45 degree angle anymore.

Laid flat for the first time last night. Had a great sleep but boy am I in pain this morning!!!

i laid flat from 6 days post op, it hurts my breast bone rite in the middle in the mornings tho but its a mahoosive difference sleep wise, although i dont wanna get rid of my V pillow just yet lol xx

ive hardly ever slept at 45 degrees was killing my back, think i did one night when i couldnt even get out of bed coz the pain was so bad so slept sat up in my sun lounger haha im still on a slight tilt tho atm (2 pillows and a v pillow), doesnt seem to have done any harm as im up right all day anyway xx

soooooooooooooooo much better thanks thought id never say that haha… walked my sis to school this mo and had no discomfort at all, plasters off tomoz and then gona attempt to drive on friday happy!!

i dnt no how u do it lol im 6 days po n ive been sleeping in my reclining sofa since thursday night and last night i thought cos id slept perfectly fine on that id try my bed. it was the most uncomfortablest sleep ive had all wk so bk to my sofa tonight. today my boobs feel like there trying to jump out of my chest lol x

I’m 5 weeks post op and still don’t lay flat anymore! Gotten so used to my beloved v-pillow. lol. x

I must say this is the only bit i am dreading……. i’ll be on my recliner sofas for the first week……..

l think u have to sleep upright due to swelling, dont quote me on it. l tried laying flat after 18 days and woke up in pain still, so have my v pillow back but laying flat with it. l cant master the side still either. l feel like there is a big wedge between my husband and l bless him xx
