can i put my own plasters on???

hey girls had my ba with mr traynor on thursday ….. although yesterday i turned sick and had to go to the docters so she peeled part of my plasters off just incase they was signs of infection luckly they wermt. Would i be ok to put the same new plasters on myself? x

i did that after i had an allergic reaction to tape, an to stop infection coz i was scared for like 3 weeks after my op (silly really coz ur meant to get air to em but o wel!) after every bath i wud put on new dressings lol! so aslong as its all sterile & im sure u know what ur doing! or get someone to help, my mum did mine first few times xx

i havent had my check up yet thats y i am abit worried i get my stitches dirty ect xx

yehh it wud defo be best to keep em covered id say! call the nurse n see what she says theyr really helpful xx

as long as the plasters are sterile, better to keep them covered and to stop the bra rubbing
