Can I take off the top of my dressing before my 1 week check?

Mr Singh has taped me up all over! The top is really itching and is making me feel really uncomfortable…..does anyone know if I can remove the top section or is it playing a vital part in holding my baps in place?!!! I’m 3 days PO and my nurse check up isn’t until Saturday….

had my BA friday aswel.. the nurse said you can take them off 4days PO but its best to wait the week! these tapes are killing me.. soo itchy and very tight! am dosing myself up on painkillers but seem to always have discomfort when sitting and pain when moving around .. are you the same? im starting to worry and not sure if this is normal? x

I was told 4 days too, just obviously keep the dressing on the scars. I’m 12 days po (525cc Mr Singh) tbh I actually loved the sellotape bra!lol it was itchy but held them in place so well, prefer it to my sports bras ha x

@charley19 I’m not really uncomfortable at all but just so itchy in the tape! Maybe you should give the nurse a call if your painkillers aren’t taking the edge off?

I think I might take the top part of the dressing off tomorrow then….I’m a bit scared that they are going to disspear when I undo them!!!

Ive been slightly worried about how much pain in feeling, theway i was told, it should just b uncomfortable but they bloody hurt like hell! hi five to tramadol though! Lol xx

i no but dont bug the nurses if its just normal to feel like this! feel like i cant straighten out coz of the pain.. walking hunched over lol is it the number on the yellow card they gave us that i call? x

Have just spoken to the nurse and she said that I can take the dressing off tomorrow! Hooray!!! Can’t wait to get it off!!!!

Taking mine off tomor too can’t bloody wait so itchy. I’m not in any pain just discomfort, want my arms back the most. Had a half bath tonight which been lovely now just need to get my hair washed it feels lousy xx

My hubby has just washed my hair for me bliss!!!!!!

How did you wash yours? In the bath? Xx
