dont risk it hun, its not worth it, you just spend all that money on having your boobs, you got the rest of your life to show them off wait till you see the nurse to get the ok xx

hey, my surgeon instructs you wear an underwired bra straight after surgery!! I had to bring a few different sizes of underwired bras into hospital with me and woke up with one on me!! Im 4 days post opp now and still have it on!! – It must be ok!

underwire are you sure bronagh. if you look online ALL info on breast surgery says your not to wear underwire bras for 6 weeks as it can stop the incisions healing and also make you implant heal higher than they should because they dont drop into the pocket properly x

hi im nearly 4 weeks po and having a night out saturday and im going to wear a underwire bra but take the wires out the clothes im wearing just wouldnt hide a sports bra lol xx

im due to fly to venice 6 weeks and 1 day post op for my 10th wedding anniversary… and i am going to wear a beautiful bra not before then though! ,y friend had hers done with a different hospital group and she was advised to wear her sports bras for 9 weeks!

hey, i thought it was a bit risky, just thought id see what you girls thought, i was also thinking to take the wire out, whatever i do i wont be wearing a wired bra, bronagh im also interested to know who your surgeon is xxxx

Under wired bras still hurt me to this day after 3-4 Hours x x

i have NEVER heard of wearing under wire before 6 weeks……i went out at 4 weeks and just went braless xx

I’ve been told to wear a sports bra for 6 weeks and a non wired for bra for 6 months…..seems a bit excessive to me. What does everyone think? I had my BA with Harley Med xx

I wore a sports bra 24 hours for first 6 weeks – had my 6 week check and then started wearing under wired bras but still wear a sports bra too bed…. xxx

i wore mine for 6 weeks too……when dr singh said i could wear normal bras at my 6 week check i was well pleased.

still love my sports bra though and have days that my underwire hurts me,i also wear my sports bra too bed xx

Hi, my BA was with Harley St, Medical Group, Dr Dimuny was my surgeon. He’s aparently one of the best?!!! Ive been wearing an underwire bra from Friday when I had my opp and Im fine! Its not sore or weird feeling at all! But to be honest, when I went for my consultation with him and he told me to bring underwired bras, I near fainted! All the other surgeons use sports bras but he was adimant! I checked out his own website too and he ‘seems’ to be very well read! – All the nurses in the hospital I attended told me that they’ve never known any of his patients to have bad scars and that he his the best they’ve ever worked with?!! (thank god for me I thought!!) xxx

I’ll stick a picture on of me straight after the opp in the hospital with the drains in etc….honestly, its totally fine!! )

hush2 i think it would be uncomfortable aswell,l its just that iv had unders and there is a gap between em, iv been wearing my sports bra 24/7 its soo comfy PK i guess ill have to go braless! cheers ladies! xxxx

My surgeon was with Ben Chew in Glasgow and he informed me that I can wear an underwire bra from 3wks if I feel comfortable. And I have it on today. Just a basic tshirt bra but feels fine. Doesnt dig into scars or anything. I took the advice of my surgeon!!
