Can I wear an underwired bra 4 weeks post op?

Hi girls

I feel healed now and really want to wear my new underwired bra today! Do you think I can? I can’t see why not, my scars are healed.

ive been told 6 weeks! i wudnt risk it hun, theres obviously a reason that they say 6 weeks x

this spoerts bra doing head in..i think its just because of the scar thing mines healed too xx

Hi cb. Well I’m wearing my padded underwired M&S bra now and I’ve checked underneath and the underwire isn’t on the scars which is good. I’ll see how I go today but keep my Macom post op bra in my bag in case I start to feel uncomfy! If all goes well I’ll try the gym next week! Really need to go!xx

hey niki just wrote on ur other post, im wearing underwire bras now, at 4 weeks i started. the wire doesnt even touch my scars and it isnt uncomfortable xx

No me neither my scars higher than the wire..its quite funny hey lol

i cant believe the diff wearing a normal bra

im wearing 32g asda just non padded lacey 1s and they look great even with clothes on and not having the padding..

ive only got 1 padded 1 at mo which i fished out in the ann summers sale for 2 quid lol thats a 30g but fits ok..

ive had a really weird day with boobs today hence left is still lil bigger than right i came off with my period today being personal and my boobs have def gone down..funny thing is day b4 due on i thought my boobs had had a growth spurt they clearly had!! period swelling!! xx

Hi Ladies,

I was told not to wear underwired bra’s until 6 weeks. This was due to the pocket of were the implant is sitting and nothing to do with the scar on the bottom. I know that alot of girls on here have taken the wires out of bras and wore them like that if they need to wear with a top or something for a special occasion.
