Can someone pls explain? Confused about inspiration v cui and projection?

Hi I’m reading loads of stuff on here about xhp being the equivalent to a smaller size in the cui. Can someone explain all this to me? For example I had moderate high profile soft touch 335 and 365 and people are saying my result looks as tho I had bigger? I’m very confused. What would the equivalent of mine be if I had got the standard cui or if I’d gone for the xhp?

I know it doesn’t really matter as I’m done, but I’m interested on this as feeling very confused xxxx
