Can we wear nail varnish when we have BA?

Hey girlies, Just took my acrylic nails off ready for Tuesday.

Question is are we aloud to wear nail varnish?

Might be a silly question but i was just wondering

Hi hun, no you have to remove all nail varnish, even on your toes x

I kept my fake nails on but removed polish x

sooo wish i could have kept mine on!! been having them for years and feels like i have no nails and its just my skin lol its horrible!! But I suppose they did need re doing anyways lol xxxx

Ahhh, my toenails are yellow thanks to my stupid red nail varnish staining them. Mr Traynor is going to think I’m a right skank.

NO make up

NO deodorant

NO nail varnish (yellow toenails!!)

AND

The underneath of my boobs are white because of the sun showers!!

I might as well go the full whack and not bother shaving He’ll never want to go on a date with me now!!

I asked the nurse about acrylic as i have it on my fingers and toes. She said definitely to remove it from my fingers but no need on the toes. SOME surgeons only request you take it off your 2 index fingers as the clip they put on finds it hard to read through acryclic or polish apparently.

Im glad i dont have to take it off my toes because the acrylic is keeping one of my big toes on – underneath it went black and a new one is growing so i was terrified if i had to take the acrylic off then id see my manky toenail underneath. haha! x

And i meant my Big toe nail on – not my actual toe … haha what a plonker!
