can you drink 4 days b4 op???

Hi girlies so its my friends birthday the Sat before the op (4 days 4) and we are all going out into town. Im not sure whether I should drink..as just reading booklet and it says prior to the op you shouldn’t ?? Im not planning on getting off my rocker but is it ok to have a few vino’s do you think?? or should I be good and not?? xxx

I specifically asked my surgeon about this, as iv got birthdays and work christmas party before my op. I was told no major drinking sessions for 2 weeks before and no alcohol at all for 48 hours before. Its ok to have one or two glasses up to 48 hours days before though! Hope this helps xxx

I stopped 2 weeks before. Didn’t want to leave anything to chance, my recovery was more important than a drink. However, I can’t see one or two harming. Definitely not the time for a long session xx
