Can you have visitors if your a day case?

Im opting for the day case, my hubbys taking me to the hospital and taking me back home but can he come and visit as soon as im up from surgery??? cos i think you have to wait 5 hours before you can go home??? x

hi im having mine done next sunday and im a day case i was told my boyfriend could wait in the room wile i have surgery and stay there till im ready to go. you should just check with ur pc but think it should be fine you get ur own room so dont see y it should be a problem xx

Hi my op is on Wednesday – daycase and when I had my phonecall on Thurs to inform me my admission time I asked if husband was okay to stay the whole day they said yep – he can either wait in reception area when in theatre or my room and I will be brought back to my room after and he can stay with me until I get to go hom …..sure he will be delighted with that LOL – a whole day of boredom for him xxx
