Can you lose nipple sensation from a BA?

Well my right nipple hasn’t gone hard or anything like when I’m cold my left one will but my right won’t!

It’s kind of numb as well.

I’m 8 days post op now and startin to worry it’ll never come back?!

Cause they look odd now lol cause its more soft than the other.

Any help please ladies!!!

give it time hun, your poor boobies have been through a lot. Mine took a couple of months to be totally normal again.

Yeaah but can you lose sensation for good from it? Cause it’s literally done nothing since my op.

dont worry it can take up to a year for that kinda stuff to go back to normal, my leftie wouldnt get hard for a while, now half of it does n the bottom half dont lol its so weird.. its improvin tho x like karina said jus give it time x

Tbh I don’t care about the sensation as much as it being able to get hard cause I just don’t want them to look odd!

Il still be worrying til this comes back to life but thank you for your advice girls!

Dont worry honey,my right one was almost perfect from day one,too sensitive in fact,my left took about 6 months,then some days it just,decided to sleep,It took for me at least a years for them to both behave as normal,the nerves have a lot of repairing to do honey,and they are two separate operations,give it time and try not to worry to much.xx

hey im 16days post op now and my left is still numb!! but right been hyper sensitive since day 1! i laughed and joked about it before but its really weird! im hoping they will even out soon but its just a waiting game! i hope mine doesnt take 6 months tina haha xx

hiya im 6 months post op, i lost sensation in my left nipple, really hoping it will come back, i have sensation in my right but its not the same as it used to be. it could never return as its one of the risks. but fingers crossed for us all.

This seems to be the worst side affect. Nipple is so important, specially to me (( I havent had my op yet but if this happens to me i will be more than upset ((.. Does any of you ladies know that if under the muscle the chance of this happening is reduced ? Thinking because the breast glands are not cut to make the pocket but the pocked is made under the muscle instead…. x

Missy I was reading about it earlier and i read that having under the muscle does reduce the risk.

Thank you Josie. Piuuu, one day i am like yey will have boobs the other day i read something like this my heart stops beating and i go hmmm might not have it done than. On the attached article it said also depends if the implant you go for diameter is larger than your actual pocket. My pocket is 11.5-12cm. And i am either having 300cc high profile or 310cc (12cm) moderate profile. So not going outer of my pocket. Just have to ask Dr.Singh in regards…..

Shelly mine is exactly the same! I’m 13 days po! and my right one is full feeling although over the last few days it’s been sooo sensitive it’s unreal! lol my left one is numb, slightly better than the start but not much feeling and both are numb at the bottom! Although my left is numb it still goes hard…weird lol x
