Cancelled pre op

I’m so annoyed. My pre op was on the 4th oct, i booked time off work to go and brought train tickets only to be called today as the consultant isn’t in on the 4th. I was told the 4th was my pre op date, i didn’t choose it so why give me a date when he is he not in ? Said I’d ring back to re arrange and then went round in circles for hours trying to get hold of someone again. Starting to worry as now I’m thinking is he even in on my operation day ! Rant over lol ! Xx
