    Day 4 post op and this sleeping half upright thing is driving me insane!!!! Ive woken up every morning so far with a banging head ache that can’t get rid of and I’m sure it’s down to the cricked neck I’m giving myself :( sorry girls had to have a rant xx

    Bless u . Han can u move ur v pillow flatter now. l saw my nurse on day 5 and she said this was ok. Try it u may feel more comfortable. xx

    Aww han this is what im so not lookin 4ward 2. I love my sleep so much. Nd I suffer wiv a bad back antway so sleepin upright wont be fun. Why do you have 2 sleep like that anyway? Get loads of pillows nd make a marshmallow bed lol :)

    Know exactly what you mean Han. I’m day 2 post op and my ass is in bits! Think I’m gonna get pressure sores lol. The worst bit for me is trying to move to get more comfortable, the shooting pains that go through my nips, ouch, ouch, ouch! Lauren the sleeping upright is to help with the swelling, I’ll let you know in a few days if it does. X

    Han, I am feeling exactly the same! I’m miserable and ratty! I wake ip from the odd hr sleep I get feeling hungover! I’m looking forward to stitches out to start sleeping normally :-( x

    oooohhhhhh nnnnooooo I am dreading this, im in on thursday!! I am a light sleeper anyway and im always tired lol dreading it so much iv got two big round cushions and a v pilloe and loads of normal pillows so im planning on putting my bed upto the wall and making myself cosy in the corner all propped up but I just dont know how you dont naturally lie down when your asleep! Sorry to hear its so uncomfortable :( x x x x

    Phew glad it’s not just me thanks girls, I was naughty and slept flat last night… no harm done that I can tell, got 1st nurse appointment tomoro thank god hopefully she wil bring good news ;)

    Haha Stacey that sounds like a good plan! It’s not the actual sleeping uprite part that’s unmanageable it’s the head ache I get with it the next day, fingers crossed for u and good luck thurs xx :)

    Han, my nurses appointment is Wednesday. I hope urs goes well tomorrow. I’m back to work tomorrow, I’m nervous whether anyone will notice :s my bruising is coming out now x

    Ohhhh good luck with first day back! I can make mine look more unnoticeable in certain things :) I’ll let u no how get on at nurse, looking forward to seeing incisions :) don’t think I’ve bruising yet xx

    hi girls, where can i buy a v pillow? Bought one at argos but it’s huge!!! My surgery is this Tuesday and I’m also concern about sleeping at night. Specially because I have epilepsy no need to rest as much as possible. xxx

    Tania, my hubby got me a great one out of marks and spencer, £15. Dont know what I’d do without it X

    How big are yours? Are they soft or those anatomical with foam?

    aww hun im the same day 5 post op and my neck and back are killing from sleeping upright haha feel like an old lady :p , can’t wait to just lie down haha. xx
