Can't believe they've moved my op day – so mad and upset :'(

Hi girls

You know I had a feelin this would happen with all the bad reviews lately!!

They’ve moved my op day from 9th may to the 10th may now!!!

I mean it’s been booked for months and I’ve booked time off work ….. Plus my lift home can’t get the day of on the 11th at such short notice so god knows how I’ll get home!!

I’m already nervous and want it over with and now this added stress ….. If I wasn’t do desperate to have it done I’d ask for my money back and go else where – I’m so mad and dussapoinented

ask mya to provide transport for messing your days up, i know other girls have done this, as it isnt your fault xx

Hiya! They moved my op by 16 days so your quite lucky its only by a day! Either way they shouldn’t arrange and then cancel/move op dates! Mine got cancelled n then they still operated on other girls with the same surgeon x

Thank babylou ….. My PC said she’ll get back to me tomo so fingers crossed …. I’ve no faith in Mya anymore and it’s really making me scared about the op and aftercare incase that’s rubbish prob all be fine …. Just making me extra nervous!!

Really vixe ….. That’s awful!! Did they give u the option to get your money back?! Can’t believe that!! If they did that to me I couldn’t have it done …. Work are so strict and there’s no more holidays till at least after October!!

I’m so scared now that they’re gonna cancel again on me!! So can’t wait to just get it over and done with

yeah i went with mya and please with my surgery but to be fair i dont think the customer service is the best.. my pc left just after i bbooked my op and i wasnt given another one, no one contacted my before or after my op, i went for my 7 then 14 day check then my 6 weeks check but havnt heard anything else off them x

Oh no! Gutted that this has happened to you. I can appreciate that 1 day makes a huge difference as I would have problems if they moved my surgery by 1 day! That said I work in healthcare and sometimes things just have to be altered and in some cases its best to have your appointment changed rather than have the surgeon rush your op. I know it doesnt help how you feel but just trying to see at least something positive!

unbeliavable…if they moved my op i would not b able to have it done as me and my partner have very limited time we can take off work…what a cheek,i thought they were more professional…hope it goes well for u anyway,take care xx

They move you if there’s not enough people having an op on the same day. Cos they pay X amount to hire everything, if jus 1-2 people r having an op it’s not worth their while. Naughty but true, I got hold this off my surgeon last nite xxx

My date was moved from 3rd May to 28th April, I was told this was unusual and that my surgeon wasn’t happy to do my lift that day (too many people). Took a bit of rearranging holiday etc but luckily not a prob except that I now only have two sleeps!!!

im the same hun…we must both be at preston together?? its such a pain! and at such short notice aswell! you’d think they would surely have known of problems sooner than this! i havnt had to change time off for me but my lift has…it does make me worry too like is this the best place to go? am i going to get exactly what i need? etcetc …sure it will all be fine on the day though. possibly see you there xxx

I had the same issue my op was cancelled 2 days before I was meant to go in. I was so upset. They gave me a new date 2 weeks later which I was furious about. I really kicked up a fuss and was able to get my boobs a week after I was due instead. It was not good enough and I made this known. I was able to get some compensation too. Good luck hun.. xx

This is really bad cuz it’s not like the hospitals r local either, I’m goin wiv mills & mills gettin naterelles for 3495 xactly the same as MYA, and the surgeon was able to show me his work which I was impressed by, shud get MYA to discount for the troubles caused!!
