Capsular Contarcture, Anyone know anything about it or had it?

I’m 10 weeks post op and my boobs are very very tender, My right is worse than my left it is painful from about an inch above my nipple all the way up to my collar bone and around to my arm pit, my right boob is also allot rounder and higher than my left! I looked on google images and they look similar to some of the boobs on there (one slightly higher and rounder).

I have rung up and booked a date to see Dr Singh but they can’t fit me in until 2nd April and I have to travel all the way to Birmingham again which to be honest is really pissing me off now as it takes up a whole day just for a 10 min appointment (my nearest is Nottingham yet).

So does anyone have any info on CC as getting a bit concerned now, The pain started at around 4 weeks post op and seems to be getting worse rather than better, I did mention to the nurse on my 7 week post op but she said she doesn’t know what it could be and didn’t know if it was normal!!!!

Everyone is different honey,and only your surgeon will be able to diagnose it,I have CC,was diagnosed 8 months ago,not with MYA by the way if I had been Im sure I would have been all sorted by now,I was told when diagnosed that I would have a re op within a couple of month,that was last July,I do ache quite a lot and my breasts are badly misshapen now,Im 3 years post op in July,they do feel hard its in both breasts one has shrunk so I have to fill my bra with socks to balance them out, god dam so pleased I hung on to those odd socks that seem to appear from nowhere,lol,and the other looks like sponge bob square pants if I did’nt remain positive I would cry honey. Do not panic, see your surgeon honey,and if you have CC MYA will sort it out for you in no time at all.xxx

Oh blimey Tina that’s not good, I hope they correct it for you soon x Did they say if it’s likly to happen again when they’re redone? Which company did you use and are they paying for the re op? It’s good you can laugh about it x x x

I hope that mine are just maybe still a bit bruised or something on the inside and that’s what is causing the pain….. Things always happen at once don’t they!

I have it mild in my right breast and will need a re-op as the suggested massage isn’t working to correct it. You would not know until at least 3 months though hun. Your breasts are still going through a lot of changes, and some girls recover slower than others x

Sarahlewis,newboobies is right honey,you will see lots of changes In the breasts and sometimes they can take a while to settle,I was advised to massage mine post op,also took vitamin E,followed the post op instructions,but I was just unlucky honey,yes it can happen again,we have discussed having unders next time and upgrading the implant.Transform agreed to the re op and covering the cost last year,it the surgeon we are waiting for and he just keeps saying I will let you know. Apparently he is extremely busy.Mario Russo is the surgeon.xxx

Tina that is horrible! I really hope youre not left in that situation for much longer. no-one paying for breast implants would ever imagine having to stuff one side of their bra with socks!!! I am booked to have my first consultation with mario russo this month and im assuming he’s available to perform BAs so why not correct yours?

Yes he is available honey,but he seems to be just booking in MYA patients,I chose Mario because I believe him to be one of the best surgeons in the country,I feel now that he has appeared on Towie and has become even more popular,my chances are looking even slimmer,I also had a procedure done through his own company Thenaturalook,that appears now to be under reconstruction so I have had no follow on appointments there either,and have no idea when it is re opening.

I am speaking to transform today who have been really good about the whole situation,I think I may be seeing another surgeon.XXX

Tina you deserve a re op and you shouldnt have to wait this long….its madness make your point clear to transform you want something done asap x
