capsular contracture

confused on this? what does it mean, and how serious is to your health and breasts. reason why i am asking is because seen loads on sofem saying that they had to get theirs done again, im worried cos i dont have that kind of money to just spend again or is it covered under the guarantee etc? 🙄

Hi almorah. Basically its when the body rejects the implant and squeezes the living daylights out of it resulting in very hard breasts. I think its 1% of girls this happens to but dont qoute me on that. If you go with MYA then u r covered under there guarantee for 5yrs. But there was someone on a forum that got capsular contracture 10yrs later so it cud happen anytime. This is something u need to discuss at your consultation tho. xx
