cast??

Hey girls,

My cast feels really loose and im wondering if its the same for other people? its probably my fault as i keep trying to reach my itches with a cotton bud stick! but im quite concerned now, do you think this may affect the result when i get cast off on monday??

OMG the itches under my cast are unbearable, and theres nothing i can doo!!

Ladies, the itching was the worst part of the entire process for me. I called the nurse where I was treated and she recommended piriton antihistamine. It doesn’t completely take the itch away but it will take the edge off. It also makes you a little drowsy x

Mine was taped underneath so I don’t think the cast needs to be tight more that it’s there to protect x

Hallix, mine came a tiny bit loose near the time it was coming off, its just where its been on for so long, and believe me theres so way itl drop off, youl find out why monday haha its literally stuck on so dont worry! just dont get it too wet as that made mine loose!! zxxx

mines become slightly loose at the bottom as well, its fine, theres tape underneath. Anyway, only two more days to go with it on!!!!! xx

thanks girls! yeah i had a bath yesterday and needed to wash hair so used the shower attachment, however it was really cold so i made the bath quite hot and i think i got a bit of water on my face from the shower attachment although i was careful. seems to be loose on one side but im glad it should be fine till monday!!

so excited, sofs what time is your cast coming off?

I am having it off in birmingham, bit too far from london unfortunately!

erghh littlechelle my swelling has got mega worse last 2 days esp on the sides i think thats why i think it looks like before. its defaitnly smaller than before and i have a nice slope but F’ing hell the sides are so swollen, im stil happy with it just wish the swelling would go xx

hello girls, love the shape of the nose, hes done a wicked job, but i am MAJORLY sowllen, i look like Simba from lion king haha. I also have a big nasty purple bruise where my bump used to be, which wasnt expected, so im a lot more swollen than i thought. I wasnt sure how swollen id be, but my nose is well fat, i think its shocked me just how bruised and sowllen it is but i cant do anything about it lol. Taking the cast off was prob one of the worse things ive ever done for me, it really hurt cos it was glued down so much. Other than that, lovely shape, spot on! xxx

I dont want to scare anyone but for me it was horrendous lol, it took ages to try and ease the plaster off and then she had to yank the cast off, i thought my nose might collapse lol. Its fine now, just really really swollen xxx
