Im guessing you cant leave without a chaperone? Do they have to arrive with you also so they know you actually have one?

My partner can take the day off work to look after the kids but then im stuck for a chaperone. :/ i wouldnt want to ask anyone else to take the day off for me. Bit stuck for ideas?! Unless he can juat pick me up but know kids arent allowed in..or maybe they will let them wait in the reception :/ any ideas? Thanks

My friend came with me as my chaperone, Hubby stayed at home and looked after our children x

@kitcat81 my fella picked dropped me off for my op then he had to get my daughter from school later in the day so when I’d eaten and drank after my op I rang my friend who came to pick me up x

I don’t think you need anyone with you when you arrive just to take you home! The girl I shared with didn’t have anyone with her until after her op and that was fine. I arranged childcare with my mum for the night before and after the op so my partner could come but you can have anyone as a chaperone, maybe a friend? Xxx

That would be better as i can get the train in and my partner collect me. Ive actually not got a date booked yet as consultation on the 21st. Everyone i know and family works week days or too far from me. It would be great if i could get a weekend date but i doubt it! as grandparents could help then 🙂 x
