Chance of not having to tell people?

I’m due to have BA with 410 overs, I’m currently a 34A/B.

I’m getting married next year & so really, I don’t want anyone to know as such I’ve had a BA, just because I don’t want to walk down the aisle to everyone looking at my boobs/talking etc. I want them done for me not for others to talk about, I’d find it weird telling OHs Mum/Dad/sister etc etc, I could go on….

I’ve had 2 kiddies so my boobs have been massive at times but have now proper shrunk and I don’t wear tight tops really, going to stick with hoodies/lose clothes etc until I have the BA (4 weeks) so it’s not really noticable afterwards….but is it gonna be really hard to hide? Not necessarily once done but in the 6 weeks afterwards etc.

i used to wear padded bras so i hoped people wouldnt notice and they havnt so im happy

Thanks, I’m glad I’m not alone in feeling like this. OH thinks I should be proud & not mind if people know but I’m quite shy & I don’t want everyone knowing! I’m just worried with swelling etc in weeks after it will be dead obvious to everyone. I can wear hoodies/loose tops etc but not sure if it will be really noticable.

I haven’t told many people xx and nobody suspects either xx i lived in triple gel bra’s so it looks no diff really x

When you’d had it done how long did you have bandages on for? Do they really swell up or does a sports bra flatten them down under clothes anyway?! I’m clueless, sorry.

I didn’t Want anyone knowing either. Someone said to me my boobs were looking massive I explained that when I put weight on it goes to my boobs. That works xxxx

I’ve told loads of people and none of them could tell! I went from a 36A to 38DD with 600 overs. It is doable hun. xx

thats what im thinking lol im quite shy too haha jst dnt wanna scream out hay look at me i have big fake boobs haha so thats y i dnt wanna go too big i guess so hopefully they wont notice although i do want them a lot bigger as no point having them done haha yess when i go see family i will be with big baggy clothes or hoodys on haha and yea im worried about the swelling making them look huge lol

Like the repsonse about putting on weight anchovie, thanks, I’ll use that! TBH when I’d had my girls my boobs went massive & since then I’ve kind of worn anything to hide my boobs cos they went so deflated so I’m hoping people won’t realise if they’ve not really seen them since, and by next summer when I wear tighter tops I’ll have gradually started to wear less baggy stuff so it’s not such an obvious change – kinda easy to keep covered up in winter!

I had 410 overs from an a cup and didn’t tell anyone. I am 11 weeks post op and people at work are still talking about me. I never wore a bra though so if you wear padded bras then maybe you’ll be okay and they look smaller in clothes so it shouldn’t be too obvious x

Same as the others. I had very small boobs b4 kiddies n had rather biggish while pregnant n feeding then went to just nipples on my chest ha. I didn’t tell anyone either n I wore really padded bras leading up to my BA, prob about a month or so b4. No one knows now 4 months down the line well happy I wore a hoody for a few weeks after two. Now they have dropped they look like my padded bra b4. Like anchovie said if u just brush it off like nothing it’ll be fine xx

I’ll get a cheapie padded bra now then & wear it til my op!

Yes. Not so obvious to strangers because they’re not like massive fake boobs but obvious to those who knew me because I was flat, had time off and then went back to work with boobs. Definitely do what the others did and wear padded bras then people probably won’t notice x

I’m trying to wear loose stuff now so it’s not like people can see exactly how big I am underneath & tbh I’ve kept myself hidden since my boobies deflated since having kids so as long as I don’t have them done then start wearing crop tops after 6 weeks I think I might get away with it lol!

Same here with mega padded bras.. I’m on maternity leave tho so hoping peeps will just think my body has naturally changed through pregnancy ha! Haven’t even told my mum & she doesn’t suspect anything x

I work in an office of mainly men. I haven’t told anyone except my husband. I wear a super padded, gel insert bra (primark special)under a suit but a slightly tight tank top so i am kinda giving a false glimpse but they can’t really tell because of the boxy suit jacket. I hope i can fool them. BA scheduled for December.

try buying bigger sized bras and wearing chicken fillets for a few months or wear gel bras like suggested in a previous note. thats what i did and no one in work has noticed or said anything to me unless i told them, and even then they said they didnt look much bigger x

Ive gone the other way.. I have told everyone i know…I have had so much of “Why are you doing that, there is nothing wrong with you as you are, you have good sized boobs”, which yes i have but the shape and nipple level is what i am more concerned with..

So when i do go back to work, pop into my local everyone will be having a gander, it will only last a few weeks then they will all forget about it..

im a 36a and wear gel bras with gel inserts… have done for a while. people get the shock of their lives when they see me at the gym… pmsl. Don’t have to wear a bra and with my lycra stretch top on, i have th echest of a 15 year old boy! PMSL… i move cities every 2 years or so and don’t see family often…

i would stick on a tight top with a highly padded bra… (primark do the best) and get people use to seeing you like that. if anyone questions it… (as i have before) just say “ooohh, these primark bras…they’re great” ! lol

I had my op 12 weeks ago. Didn’t tell anyone except my OH. No one has noticed, or if they have they haven’t said anything. X

its the kinda time of year that you can hide em a bit more!! just think girlies… we’ll all have beautiful boobies for next summer…
