Char30 uplift and implant pics up!

I really didn’t ever think I’d be putting pics of my boobies up on the net, but so many of your pics have helped me and so here they are!

I had an uplift and 365 unders with the wonderful Mario Russo.

Hi Char they look fabulous hunni, had my strapping taken off last week, im back at Bham tomorrow to be checked again and hopefully have the steri strips and mepore dressings off so i’ll free xxx

Stats are 5’7, around 8 and a bit stone, was a 28DD/E cup and after breastfeeding went completely flat on top.

Thanks you mandyn, bet you must be really chuffed to have all your bits off and get a proper look at your boobs! I have been advised to keep my steri strips on for THREE MONTHS to keep the scars flat! In a way I’m quite pleased as it means I don’t have to look at all the stitches but it seems like an age away! At least by Christmas I’ll be able to properly enjoy them! Good luck for tmw.

Thanks Char, I wonder if they’ll say that to me too, although scars are already looking far better than i’d thought they were going to be, not raised, red, nothing, thank god for dissolvable stitches though lol xx

Char they look fab hun,I’m 3 weeks post op tomorrow from uplift and 300cc with mario and scars are looking better and better everyday,seem to be healing really quick.I have been told to wear tape too but when I took it off it was pulling all scabs off so decided to wait a few more weeks before I start to use tape,don’t want to disturb scars too much as its still early days.hope your healing well xxx

Mandy….u had helena right?as far as I’m aware its just mario recommending his ladies to wear the tape to help prevent (keloid scarring-red raised lumpy and bumpy scars) its a new thing mario is asking to do.how are you healing?excited for dressings off tomorrow?I felt naked without them on lol xxx

I’m booked for 2 nov with mr adamo for uplift and 380 implant, it’s only the scarring that worry’s me!

Would love to see how well your healing, was the pain bad?? And your right pictures do really really help and I will return the favour to all you kind girls that have shown me your pics xxx

Thanks Steph, yikes, the pulling of the scabs sounds a bit scary! I’m going to see the nurse on fri so I’ll see how it goes when she pulls mine off!

Sure ladyjen, add away. The scarring is scary and a major factor when you are thinking what to have done. I havn’t looked at mine yet as they are covered with steri strips and when I went to see the nurse at 7 days I couldn’t look!

I won’t lie, I did feel rather sore for the first few days though this may be because I had unders? Do you know what you are having? Don’t let this put you off though, as everyone is different and I can’t tell you how nice it is to have boobies again! It is such an amazing feeling so the way I am thinking about my scars is 1. don’t look at them for as long as poss so that they can do their healing without me seeing (!) and 2. buy as many scar creams for after that I can afford!!! Lots of luck xxx

My friend had uist and at her year check the nurse couldn’t tell she had had an uplift so I think it I’d about doing as your advised and plenty of scar potions!

You only live once , can’t wait to have boobs back like when I was 18 !! X

Melissa, Char and Nicola – I’ve sent you an add request as I’m going for uplift with either 260 or 340 overs with Mario too pretty soon so would love to see pics and how you’re getting on. I’m not sure if I’m making the right decision on size so would be really helpful to follow your progress. Thanks ladies! xx

Hi, can I add u? I’m really interested to see scars in regards to keeping tape on versus off!

At my 2 week check my nurse took the sticky dressings off and just put steri strips on and gave me loads to take home and told me to keep putting them on my scars until my 6 week check. But then I had a bit of an issue a few days later so had to see the nurse but my nurse was away so had to see the Mya head nurse who advised me completely differently!!!! She said no tape, no strips, just leave them to heal!!! so god only knows who’s advice is best! X

Sure honeybunny I’ll add you. Trust what Mario says, they don’t call him SuperMario for nothing! He will know when he sees you what will look right for your body and frame, and he also takes a few different sizes to the op, so when he has made your pocket he will see what looks the best once in! I was really shocked that he put the largest one in me as I said natural over size mattered to me the most, but he did the right thing and I am really pleased.

Pmc, I’ll add you too. Who was your surgeon? I never really trust what the nurse says, it’s what the surgeon says that matters to me. I think it’s only Mario that want his girls to wear the steri’s because it keeps the scars nice and flat.

I reckon that if you don’t wear it, the scars will probably heal faster as the air is getting to it, and that is why most surgeons don’t bother with it. But Mario told me that they will heal neater and flatter if you do, so I’m listening to him! It is a bit crap to see my stitches through the steri but i don’t mind waiting a few months longer if it means I’ll have neat scars! Trust your surgeon! xxx

Wow char your boobs look fab, I’m in with mario 3 weeks tomorrow (eeeekkkk) for donut lift and ba, 300-340-380. I want to end up looking a full dd/e (don’t mind measuring up to ff) from 32b/c. Size 8, 9st, 5’10. I’m really excited but sooo nervous at the same time. He said that I won’t like them until 6 months after when they’ve settled and that they’ll look square from side view but not to worry. I like that he was so honest Cause hopefully this will prevent me from getting boobie blues. I bet you love yours, I know I would… I think he’s just giving me worst case scenario cause everyone else’s look fab. Happy healing x x

Oh and is the breast band yours or did the hospital provide it? Were you at Preston? X

Thx Kelbel, I am happy with them, though I def have my days when I get fed up of them being so hard! They give you the breastband so you dont need to worry about getting one. It’s funny, as everything you wrote Mario told me! Good luck for 3 weeks, how exciting

hi char cd i add u as a friend , iam seeing mario on wedensday and iam not sure if i will be need an lift as well as my ba coz after having my son iv been left with quite a bit breast tissue and there a lil saggy, if so how much did u have to pay to have an uplift and ba ? xx

Sure no probs. I paid 6k for an overnight stay and for the best type of implant (natrelle inspira responsives). x
