I apologise in advance, I know how much I’ve posted recently so sorry if it’s irritating as hell. But your all so helpful and fountains of knowledge, I can’t get this advice from anywhere else on the Internet!!
I just spoke to my PC as I’m due to go back before my op and re discuss sizes with Dr Mounir, and she was so helpful and informative but it’s really confused me. She said “Im just wondering why your having anatomicals since your the ONLY patient I’ve ever had that’s had them. You do realise the high flip rate don’t you? They also come at an extra cost from what I’ve quoted you as I didn’t realise this is what you were having!” She also said that I can get a natural look achieved with rounds and that I should consider discussing this with Dr Mounir at my next appointment before she orders the implants.
I was aware of all of this before, but I was sure I knew what I wanted, now I’m thinking I should just go for rounds????
What I’m asking I guess is, have most of you achieved a natural look with larger round implants and shall I knock the idea of teardrop on the head as a whole? she seemed quite baffled I personally asked for them, as before I memtioned it the Dr was only talking about rounds. It’s like I’ve formulated the whole scenario of needing tear drop when in actual fact I just don’t need to. Am I making sense?

Sorry this is long, but now I’ve really confused myself! I just want big, natural looking boobies!!!!!!

    Hey Jessica,
I’ve hear that tear drops do not look natural at all when you lie down flat on your back they still have that slope but if you get the rounds they take the shape of the tear drop when standing up but when you lie down they look more like real boobs if you understand what i mean. If i were you i would very much consider the round ones! More natural looking in my opinion just get like under the muscle so they dont look so round at the top, hope that helps! Xx

Thanks girls for replying!! I see what both of you are saying entirely. I do believe she has a fair point though as well, I pushed for anatamonical before I really knew anything about rounds and partials!! I didn’t even know they could do that till a few days ago. So I think i was being so conservative but in hind sight I didn’t know enough to make a decision like that. For the record Abbie, yours look amazing I’d be very happy with those!
Such a difficult decision did anyone else agonise over it the way I have?? This has been the worst part for me, I can’t wait till ive made a decision!

I wanted teardrop but after talking to Mr kazzazi I realised the same look can be achieved placing rounds partial or under. Go see your surgeon again it’s the best thing to do

You’ll be a lot more reassured when you meet your surgeon so make sure you take questions you really want to ask then and ask about the recovery for the different placement types. Hope you come to a happy and confident decision soon! Good luck! Xx

    Thanks Hun <3
Definitely going back next week Amy! have 2 weeks till my op so I hope he is ok with me practically completely changing my mind. But I have to be 100% happy with this before I commit to it. I’m starting to think partials will do the job for me, I’m a 32C so I have skin that will cover the implant. Good god, this is too difficult. Why am I not a qualified boobie surgeon?

    hey hun!
I was convinced I was gonna have tear drop shaped implants but after talking about the flip complicationa nd the fact that almsot every girl i look on here has rounds I began to think rounds werent too bad… also if you go see your PC again… did she have some of the round implants on her desk? like the actual implants not he ones you put in a bra?
if you hold them between your tumb and finger at the top like it would kinda be palced in your chest and see how it drops / hangs (i dont know if you can guess what i mean) you might be less afraid of rounds.
i was SO against rounds! as i hate round looking boobs but now I’m 100% confident about my decision and I’ve gone with rounds.xxxx

So so glad you made this thread Jessica I have EXACTLY the same problem!!!
I have booked the anatomicals and after reading up and looking on here I’ve paniced and now am thinking round partials??
The thing I’m worried about is I had my ba three years ago and was talked out of anatomicals then and ended up with round overs and I regretted it and wished I had stick with my original gut feeling… Now it’s kinda happening all over again and I don’t wanna make the wrong choice again.
I’m seeing my surgeon again tomorrow so I can find out more, I know the flipping rates are not an issue these days due to the new range, my surgeon is an anatomical specialist and has had one flip his whole career and he is now semi retired!
This is just as hard second time round as the first but what I know for sure is the girls on here with partials look amazing, sooo I don’t know, my mums had her anatomicals for 15years and they are amazing and so natural … I’ll let you know what my surgeon says tomorrow 😉 xx

Thankyou so much for your responses girls! Yes please please let me know what they say to you hun 🙂 I read so many studies saying it’s much much rarer these days so I was shocked that she suggested otherwise! Its the critical choice before even choosing size!
