Check ups…

Who did you all have your 6 week check with? Nurse or surgeon? How many follow ups with your surgeon did u have/do u get?xx

Hi hun, i havent had mine as im only 6 days po but i have my 1 week check with nurse tomorrow and mr adamo said i will see him for my 6 week check so u will see your surgeon hun x

Nursw at 1 week, surgeon at 6 weeks and then thats it. But you can have as many as you want hun just have to call mya or your pc whenever you want one and you can book to see a nurse or your surgeon but after the 6 week check you dont have to have anymore only if you want to. I had my op in November and ive seen my surgeon 3 times since my 6 week check but only because i had some problems. xxx

I thought it was ment to be with your surgeon but im having my 6 week check with a nurse?! When i questioned this i got told i will c my surgeon at 3 months…seems odd to me how it differs for everyone xx

Dolcie they said that to me too…nurse 6 weeks and surgeon 12 weeks…strange x

Mr Singh…I don’t know if they’re changing it to 12 weeks as the surgeons are so busy picking up Mr Russo patients x

I had my 1 week check with the nurse, my 6 week check with my surgeon, I was told that my next check date was left down to me so I’ve booked it for when I’m 6 months post op, but I was told I could come back whenever I wanted if I was worried about anything at all.. Everything has been very good as far as I’m concerned. X

God knows, i had Russo but was booked in for nurse at 6 weeks before everything kicked off! If some people see there sugreonat 6 weeks then surely everyone should lol doesnt make sense x

I had Russo and was booked for 6 week check with nurse before anything happened too. My pc told me before my op that 1 and 6 weeks were with nurse and then 6 and 12 month checks with surgeon x

beckidawnn i was told that aswell, had my 1 week check last week, booked in there & then for my 6 week check (im seeing both nurse & surgeon that day) then was told by my pc to expect to be seen in future 6 months & 12 months post op x

I was told 6 week check was with nurse and I would see Mr Russo at 12 weeks and then at 12 months. Why have we all been told different, its just stupid! God knows who I will end up seeing now as Mr Russo is no longer around. PC hasn’t been in touch to advise what will happen x

hey i had my first check up today and booked in for 4 weeks time to see my surgeon and my nurse xx

I have my 6 week on 21st n that’s with nurse but I did think it was meant to be with surgeon as read it in my booklet they gave me.
