Check ups???

Hi Just curious as to how many check ups and how often you go for them after your BA? I’m due in on the 10th May at Manchester and have booked a week off work and was just wandering how many other days off you have to have besides.

You have three check ups after ur op. The first one is at 7-10 days with the nurse so you have the tapes taking off, another one im not sure when & then u see the surgeon 3 months after ur op. Hope this helps sorry i cant remember when the second one is

i was at manchester and i had 2 check ups. first one about 10days post op and then one around 9 weeks. Started wearing bra’s at 6 weeks after speaking with the nurse over the phone to make sure it was ok.

Hi, i had my ba with Mr Adamo, and had check up with the nurse at 8 days, and check up with Mr Adamo at 7 weeks x

Hi jacqui ive got my BA in may with mr adamo. Did you wear a sports bra for 6 weeks after yours? when i saw him he said it doesnt really matter if you wear one or not, i think i will just incase though x

hi Jodi, at my consutlation with Mr Adamo he did say that i didn’t have to wear a sports bra unless i felt more comfortable with one on. I bought 3 in different sizes just in case i wanted to wear one, and to be honest after my ba finally having boobs they felt quite heavy to start with, so i did wear one for most of the time. I use to take it off for a couple of hours each morning, the again each evening. It’s best to just see how you feel hun. Good luck with yours xx
