    Hi everyone just a question my hubby asked me the the other day. Can you still feel lumps and bumps in your breasts? He wanted to know how i would check myself for breast cancer. xx

    i think if you have unders it’s the same as it would be without implants as you can still feel the tissue above the muscle, with overs it’s just a matter of going through the motions (the usual checking technique)and hoping for the best i think! and to go for regular mammograms x

    I’ve read that it’s important to check around the edge of the implant where it meets the breast tissue. The article also said that your PS should show you how to check for lumps.

    i heard that if you have unders you can still feel most off your breast tissue and if you have any lumps the implant makes the lump stick out more so its easy to see it, but with overs you dont see much off the breast tissue so it makes it harder so i would have a scan to check if you have overs.

    i read a great sorry the other day, as this was something i was concerned about so i did some research, a lady had implants, unders, and she found a lump so she went to see a specalist, and they said she had cancer and that because she had implants and they were unders, that it pushed the lump out more than it would of if she didnt have implans, and that she saw it alot more early due to this and saved her from loseing her hair. xxxx
