Chest bandage had Dr Kazzazi when do you take it off?Confused!

Hi ladies had my op yesterday! One nurse said after 4 days I can take the chest bandage off the other said best to wait until your 7 day check-up.Does anyone know what Dr Kazzazi reccomends? I dont want to take it off day 4 when I should have kept it on! Sounds a silly question but I seem to be getting mixed answers!

Hey hun, i know exactly what your feeling, i had it on 3 weeks ago lol. Keep it on for the 7 days, thats what the nurse told me, he doesn’t like it if you take it off before. Its a pain but worth it in the end i promise xxx

Leave it alone. The nurse will take it off at your 7 day check xx

Thanks ladies im leaving it…. Just the nurse rang today and said o you take it off yourself after 4 days…Which didnt seem right to me…Ill wait for my post-op with the nurse! Ladies also what bra were you told to buy the nurse said that Dr K doesnt liek surgical bras??? I was told to get and m and s sports bra!!! Confused?

Dr. Kazazzi doesn’t mind what bra you get so long as it fits well and holds you in right post op. I mentioned both sports bras and the macom to him and he said whatever you prefer, just keep the tape on till the nurse takes it off then make sure you wear a supportive bra for 6 weeks. The nurse recommended the Macom to me and i wouldn’t have been without it.

I had mine nearly 5 weeks ago now with kazzazi. He is telling nurses to not recommend Macom as he has seen no positive results. Apparently too tight n moves implant :0. So I was told not to wear it at all. He said to me get ur money back n buy cheap ones . Also I took mine off after 4 days as I was getting blisters from strapping. Kazzazi said as long as u keep it on for 48 hours that’s fine xxx

Miami girl thanks for the advice! Wot support of sports bra should we be using? I got an m and s extra extra support! Is that wrong? With regards to the bandage I have no idea what to do!lol does Dr K have a preference as to how long to keep it on?

I may ring today and ask to speak to him!

Hi that’s ok. I’m wearing asda support bras. Been the most comfy after swelling gone down he said to wear for 7 days but told me with my blisters because of bandage that I can take off after two. Left on for 4 days and nurse said u can take off after 2-3 no prob. I’ve had no prob so far touch wood lol. Scars are amazing and great outcome!! I do leave my sports bra off for few hours in eve too just to be more comfy. Then I put my night bra on I got them from sloggi in Debenhams. So comfy n nurse said they was fine. Just light support ones!!! Hope this helps. Xxx

Hey huni thanks loads ! I will stick with the tape until sat when I see the nurse…how are yours with dropping etc??
