Hi anyone with young kids had there ba done got a wild clingy 15month old and was jw how every1 managed. And how long needed help for? My partner has 1week off is this going to be ok? X
Helloo, i had 340 unders on sunday. Iv had my husband and his nan helping with my boy hes jus under 6 months old. Ill b honest im 6 days po n just started managing to do things like hold him (aslong as hes not wriggly hes hit my boobs twise today n really hurt) i can change his nappy and change his clothes. Hes not the sort of baby that likes being put down always wants to be up so i wudnt of coped if my husband n nan wernt helping. Its the mussles aroud my arms that i use for liftin and stretchin that have been the problem, a 15 month old might b easier coz their bit more independent compared to a 6 month old. Id defo say have help 24/7 for atleast a week.
I had 380 unders on the 8th march and had to have help up until now! It really pulls if I lift my 9month old and she is small for her age I still would not be able to bath her or put her in or out of her cot. You are advised not to pick them up till 4 weeks post op so I have. Ur down the amount I lift her and if someone else is here I will get them to lift instead! Hope this helps! X
Im 9 days post up from ba and nipple lift. I was ok at picking my 18 month old up from about day 4 and bathed both girls and 1 week post op. u should be fine with help for a week. Us women are machines lol xxx
I’ve got 4 kids. The 3 year old and 1 year old are pretty clingy little boys. I’ve had to be strict with the 3 year old about being near my chest and jumping on me etc and the 1 year has had to be looked after by others. My mum, mother in law and best friend have looked after the kids this week while my husband has been at work (I’m 8 days po) and next week my husband has the week off. I’m hoping to get back to normal the week after. 1 week would never have been long enough for me. I’m hoping 2 weeks will be xx
Ok thank you every 1 a have plent people who will help but just to let them know in advance x
Yes kat1986 i agree, mothers havent really got a choice im sure our bodies have quick recovory mode im sure lol, wud take men about 12 weeks to recover, us girlies i recon 2 weeks max lol
id milk it n ask for 2 weeks of help haha xx
hi zoeee its depends how u cope and that really i had ba with uplift on 7th march i had help for 4 days after that was it then my partner was back to work i was doing more or less everything from then and to be honest i felt fine and still do no keep waitin for pain to strike its been a walk in the park hope everything stays ok, anyway i have an 4 and half month old and a 6 month old and i was ok. good luck to u xx
Jus b very careful girls in lifting ur little ones!!!!! U might feel ok but it’s the damage u can cause with ur breasts. I would definitely leave it until ur six week check up before doing any lifting!!!! I had my first ba Nearly 7yrs ago and having my second one on the 29th of march and I was advised not to do anything to strenuous for at least 6wks. I know it’s hard with having children but u must b very careful. I’ve got a little boy who is 2 and half and he loves jumping all over me… So it’s gonna b really har trying to tell him that he can’t. Xx
