    Well that came around quick!!

So my admission time was 10am on the 8th. As I was travelling from North Wales I stayed in a hotel the night before, not that I got any more sleep as I was extremely nervous!

I was in my room by about 10:45 and was told I would be having the op at around 1pm. Once Mr G came in to see me I felt much more at ease :) At 12:30 my nurse (who was amazing) came through and told me they were ready for me annnd panic!!!

I woke up at 2.10, got a bit teary but was fine apart from a bit of a headache. I had no bruising and swelling at first but that soon came!

A couple of hours later Mr G came to see me and I was told I could go home to Wales so I left the hospital around 8pm. Longest drive home ever!!

I can’t taste anything and don’t have an appetite but at least I have no pain! The swelling and bruising is getting better everyday.

Friends and family have been very supportive, shame about a house mate of mine being a major a hole and upsetting me a day after the op! Luckily staying at my parents for now so able to avoid him!

I haven’t had any contact with MYA since the op and I have got to say I’m very disappointed with that. What’s a phone call to check how you’re doing? Not sure if that is the norm with them or not?!

Looking forward to having the cast removed, hoping the new nose will look amazing!!

Hey zara, so reassuring to hear your experience (obviously not the bit about them forgetting about you after though!!). To be honest, I booked mine over the phone last week and have heard nothing since either. Was expecting confirmation in the post at least??

I’m due to have my op in London on 26th April with Mr G and am having to travel down night before….very nervous but sure will all be worth it.

Happy healing….sure it will look fab!!! xx

Happy healing :-) I had my ba last Friday and haven’t had a call from mya since. I rang Monday with a question and got told would get a call back and never did. I’ve emailed in and not had a reply and my clinic hasn’t had a nurse in so had to call the emergency number just to ask a simple question. I’m going to the clinic tomorrow so will see if my pc can talk to me then!x

Thanks for your replies ladies :)

Jills I’m sure I had confirmation through the post of my payment, not sure how long after that was though. April will quickly come around :)

I’ve recovering pretty well but if I hadn’t of been a phone call would have been appreciated!

Also know that most people had their cast removal apt before their op but they hadn’t arranged that for me so I had to call them yesterday to arrange that. I’m having it off next Tuesday :) My PC told me that she had txt me on the day of the op but seeing as I hadn’t replied she assumed I would have been groggy and was going to call me this week. I didn’t receive a txt but perhaps she did and it hadn’t come through.

I’ve also had a really nasty ulcer at the back of my mouth, I think maybe where the tube has scraped :S That’s really bugging me as it stings so bad when I eat :(

All in all I’m feeling pretty good now though :)

Hope all went well at the clinic nat!xx
