Closed rhinoplasty all done :-D

Well… Dispite my worries I made it out alive lol! All bandaged up. I’m in no pain but I was surprised at how hard it is to breathe through your mouth! Thanks for all the messages girls and advice… Whoever said to bring lip balm was an angel it really did help! Slight black eyes but nothing too bad. Did anyone have to have the cast on for 12 days? I thought it was 10 days but DR G said to leave it for 12?! Can’t wait to get it off! Xxxx

well done sofs, had mine Wednesday night! I gotta wait 12 days too, Dr g actually said have it on for longer if I can! how are you feeling? I lool.terrible, my eyes have swollen up n gone puffy today so I can’t see very well… I hope this is as bad as it gets! xxx

My eyes are ok… Just a little dark underneath. Is ur nose throbbing every so often cos mine is lol! I can breath through my nose already but to put less pressure ill just breath through my mouth! Feel ok, I’m not in any pain it’s just uncomfortable! Hate sleeping up right! How are u getting on? ur nose looks good! U can tell mines nice and straight now, I’ll try up loads some photos later xxx

Sofs I remember mine throbbing a bit…I just kept taking pain killers because I was scared the throbbing would turn in to full on pain lol.xx

yeah my nose is throbbing slightly. I can’t breathe through it at all, its oozing still and I can feel stuff moving around every so often which is weird. sleeping upright is horrible but I’m managing it somehow! I dont have any pain but the swelling is so bad on my eyes I can barely see, and I hate not being able to breathe! I had open septorhino so I suppose I should have expected the worst! thank you though, I am already really happy with how my nose looks under the cast I just feel so crappy!

were u an overnight case? u should put pics up for sure when I feel up to it

Yeah no wander ur in a bad way, I only had closed, I can’t image worth than this tho it really is uncomfortable! Glad to hear u both experienced the throbbing lol! I was just a day case so was in at half 7, surgery was at 9 and I was out by half ten! Did u stay over night? I saw one girl down the corridoor with nose stuff on but it didn’t look like shed had it done that day, I think I was the first nose girl that day! Xxxx

Ps my nose is oozing too it’s really annoying having all this dry blood around and not being able to pick it off lol! Xx
