Closed Rhinoplasty in 3 days… Help!!

Ok , after what seems like a lifetime waiting my op is on Thursday…. I was fine until I realised how close it is today and now I’m petrified!!!! Any words of advice would be great along with what to bring/do after op etc! Eeeeekkkk!!! Xxxx

Wishing you loads of luck for thursday babe!! I’m pre op so can’t give any post op advice but I’m also having closed rhino but still have another 2 months to wait! I can imagine how your feeling tho I know I’ll be the same! xxxxx

I had a closed rhino n was so scared b4 and fort I would be in loads of pain but after I was fine n don’t remember any pain and didn’t take any pain killers after. When you get home just make sure u have a lot of pillows as ule b sleeping upright 4 a while!! Good luck, it will go really really well!!! Xxx

I found that the V Shaped pillow was good for the drive home and for sleeping with Also my throat hurt a lot after the op and was constantly drinking water…I would recommend a bottle of water for the drive home…I didnt bring one n the hospital let me take a cup with water in are you having ur op at highgate? If so the staff are amazing and will do anything for you..

I made sure I had pain killers, Ice packs, Arnica cream/tablets, but i didnt use any of these. The hospital will supply you with additional dressings, pain killers, antibiotics and nasel spray. But I ran out of dressings after a couple of days, so id get some in ready and some of the surgical tape to stick it down with.

When you wake up you will be suprised that there is no pain…I was so shocked. The worst part is the build up huni xx gd luck xx

I’ve got my V pillow ready, I have some arnica cream ready too , I’m so excited/nervous… I think I’m just worrying over the result as in will I like it, will it suit my face, I’m sure I’m just being stupid, he’s done a great job with everyone on here!! Just can’t believe it’s come so fast!!!I’m a bit overwhelmed by it all and it’s not even the day yet!! Xxxx
