Hey girls! Just wondering if many of you had to buy more clothes as your old clothes didn’t for or look right after surgery?

I have surgery on Monday and I’m getting really anxious now just wondering if may of you felt like this? X

I am 5dpo and so far i havent had to change my clothing but depending on what you wore before surgery.. i tended to wear looser fitting clothes so even now my boobs are bigger i can still get away with them. If i were you id wait until boobs have settled before buying anything new as they will change in shape and size throughout the whole healing process.

As of nerves.. i was a wreck as im a born worrier but honestly dont stress too much. Im only 5 days post op but apart from having my son is probably the best thing i have done, my confidence has rocketed already and to me thats worth going through with it.

You have nothing to worry about, as my sister said your going to be in the safest place you have been all year surrounded by doctors etc, you will have a brilliant sleep and wake up with tits ???? what more could we want.

Everything will be okay trust me, if i can do it anyone can

Good luck and enjoy them xx

Thank you so much for your reply you’ve calmed me down! I’m just getting really scared now about waking up with huge boobs too big for me but I’ve taken the surgeons advice and I’ve wanted this for so long so I need to calm down! X

I’m nearly 2 weeks post op and I’ve found my clothing experience the same as Toni so far – I generally wore baggier tops as I had nothing to show so they still fit. I have however tried some of my old night out outfits on which are tighter on top… they no longer fit/look right with my bigger boobs haha. So I’ll be making new purchases for them once I’m fully healed!

@iamalys it’s so good to speak to people who have been/are in the same boat. I think I’m just terrified now because it’s so close. I know I desperately want this I’m just so scared they are going to look stupid but I’ve seen my surgeons work (dr Netri) and they always look fab! I just want it to be my op day already x

@emily same here, I wish my op was today haha. I am so tired right now, I am not sleeping very well and I think I am just too excited and nervous. Let’s keep in touch and wish you a great surgery and a speedy recovery xx

If i can help anyone with my experience than i will do. The worse bit of the whole experience is the state we put ourselves in, the nerves are definitely worse than the surgery and aftermath. We cant change who we are if we worry than we are going to worry but please trust your surgeon as he does this day in day out don’t he and keep thinking of when its all done and dusted and how amazing you are going to feel.

I had an uplift with 380cc implants i was told previously due to my uplift they could either fit in 3 different sizes depending on the pocket he could make which were 350cc 375cc or 410cc he opted for that because any larger they would of looked stuck on which i definitely didnt want.. so yeah trust the surgeon as im pleased with the look so far and i think any larger would of looked too big for me.

Talking to other people and hearing their experiences will hopefully make you feel slighty more at ease. It truely isnt as bad as what your thinking xx

Just a little tip i found good for recovery.. just to share with you, get yourself on amazon get a few boxsets and good V pillow!

I am usually one for being here there and everywhere so being in and resting up has been annoying for me but been having boxset marathons of my favourite comedies which has definitely made it a lot more enjoyable. We sometimes get in a state about the whole surgery bit we forget about when we get home and what we will have to keep ourselves entertained xx
