Iv got a really important day tomorrow were I’m meant to be on stage infront of 2000 people, I can’t wear the garment.. What would happen if I didn’t wear the garment tomorrow? I’m a week post surgery and still a bit sore and tiny bit swollen but not much x

Hi, what would happen is that you will get much more swollen in the places treated without the compression garment. If you decide to take it off, then put it back on as soon as you can. do not keep it off for longer than absolutely necessary. this can worsen the result of the surgery and extend the healing time. good luck! xx

I rung the nurse and asked if i could take it off for job interview for 3 hours, at 3 weeks post op. She said no and said that the clothes i will wear will damage my body and that the garment is protecting your shape still. I wouldn’t at one week. It feels horrible without it that early.
