Confimation letter?

Hi Girls…

I havent had anything in writing regarding my op, date, surgeon etc??

At what point did you have this? Im worrying about cancellations and times now.

I was told I will get a call to confirm time to arrive at hospital.

Oh ok. Mines 16th April and I had my letter weeks ago. Not what time I have to be there etc but the surgeon, date and where it is. Maybe best to chase x

Oooohh think I will do. Heard loads being cancelled and I dont think I could take that as I am not sleeping with all this on my mind. Just want it over now. Who you having hun? and are you daycase? x

Mines on wednesday…i still haven’t got my arrival time but my pc said she will let me know monday at the lastest xx

How long have you been booked for? I booked in feb so it seems to be going quick for me. I had slight doubts today for the first time. I know what you mean though, it seems to take over your life and I just want it over now too hun. What are you terrified the most about? x

i only had my consultation last tuesday and i booked then…its been really quick…15 days all in all!! Yeah it does take over your life…i have boobs on the brain, think i’m turning into a man lol!! I’m more scared about waking up and hating them..and the first week recovery period is worrying me a bit..not being able to do anything etc!! Oh, and the biggest worry is that i will die!!! I’v said if i do then they had best make sure the job is done, haha! Seriously though, i’m scared of it all i’m a right wuss xx

Im soooooo worried about how theyre gonna look and the afetrmath more than anything else. The pain isnt bothering me but maybre Im being naive?? Had 2 children naturally so it cant be as bad as that, surely, lol!!… Gosh, youve not had long to wait then, thats so quick turnaround!… youve got a long way to go to London for it x

I’v got two kids too hun, so i’m hoping its not as bad as childbirth lol!! I’m not going to london, i’m at preston…i live in blackpool so its not too bad xx

Im with you guys. Feels like all I think about is boobs. (think my boyfriend now thinks his being neglected)! I’ll make it upto him lol. Jo know how you feel, biggest fear off all is waking up looking down and hating them. Second biggest is the recovery period.

Summer im having Mr Fallahdar at highgate and im a day case. Not paying £400 to have the pleasure of staying in hspital and being woken up every 2 hours. (Takes me that long to get back to sleep) lol x

Cant be!!!!!… Oh right, thats not too far… Theres not many going London. Think Im gonna be a loner on 10th April, lol x

Hiya, it took a few chaser e-mails to get my confirmation.. Got it a couple of weeks ago and mines 19th April …

i got my email the day after id paid it all off x

Jo, I would call yr PC just to check all is ok to make you stop wondering… I chased for confirmation just cause I like to have things in writing… Let us know how to get on x

I tried calling my pc to ask about confirmation in writing but she is off work today, I did speak to the nurse though and she gave me my admission time – 7.30am Wednesday morning..she said she would get my pc to call me tomorrow to discuss any last minute worries (christ i have loads lol) I feel a bit better now having got my admission time though xx

I had my letter about 2 weeks ago and I am not booked in until 19th April.

I have asked to be first done on the day, but I doubt Iwill be cos I am in for 2 nights and will be under the longest. Gutted. xx

Thats why i’m surprised that my admission time is so early melissa, i have an overnight stay and was told initially that the day cases would be done first in order to give them time to recover so they can go home! I was expecting to be admitted around 11.30am! I don’t fancy hanging around all day and not getting done till late afternoon xx

I’ve put my deposit down for 5th April but i’ve not heard anything else since then :S, Just a call asking if i’d be able to pay it all on certain day – then got receipt in the post from deposit.

What are we ment to get other than that?
