Confused about healing times etc for overs?

Hi, as you all know Im having overs next week. They say the recovery is easier than with unders so Im just wondering about swelling etc. Will they not be as swollen as somebody with unders? How long until they start looking ‘normal’ and will I have the pointed cone effect at first? Im just trying to prepare myself and wondering what to expect in the first week looks wise xx

Im 3 days post OP. from 505cc overs. Im very swollen no pain at all though. Just a bit achey. I dont no how long the recovery is for overs. I no unders take longer to settle xx

Tracy you can add me if you want and have a look at my pictures. I had 410 overs just over 7 weeks ago and I was very swollen for about 2 weeks, hot water bottles under my arms worked really well and took the swelling down. You’ll see mine dropped fairly quickly. They started to soften at about 4/5 weeks, now they are both really squidgy. What are you having? xx

My friend had overs the same day i had my unders. Our op was a wednesday and she was clubbing on the friday!!

christine who had unders with me was mobile enough to go shopping the next day, where as i just couldnt be arsed to move.

i know some people with overs who have litrally lay in bed for a week in pain, yet some with unders including me who had no pain.

I think its all down to u personally and csnt judge on anyone else.

Unders tske longer physically to settle, but pain wise they aint that bad xxxx

Thanks Tracy, I’m really pleased. I had hardly any pain at all, I was just uncomfortable while my skin was tight from stretching. What size are you now and what are you having? xx

Fairy – lucky you going on hol. Where you going? The sun will sort your skin out I reckon (I was right about the washing powder so listen to me) LOL xx I am terrified!! Think I need to stop coming on here and try and put it to the back of my mind but finding that an impossible task!! Im going on my own and Im an overnight so think that is making me more scared! Belle – I am currently a 34b, 5’2″ and just under 9 stone. Debating between 345 and 365cc. Think Im gonna go 345 tho as Im worried 365 will be just a tad too big? What do you girls think? I wanna look a d but don’t wanna look too big as there’s a lot of people Im not telling.

Im off to florida babe for two and a half weeks. So scared as my gran has my two little pugs, honest i treat them like kids im soo worried bout them haha… plus i hate flying!!

aw hun ul be fine in ur own u know. Leaving my bf to go to theatre made me cry more lol. Plus at preston u will feel like ur in a lovely cottage type hotel. The staff are amazing too hun. Really hope ur right about my scars hehe hope the sun does sort them. The sunbed seems to dry them!!

Im in on Thursday and think Im first on the list, so I’ll prob be out of theatre early then I’ll have all day and night in the hospital

Honest preston is lovely!! It just feels like a lovely hotel. The rooms are at the back and u can watch out the wondow at all the wild animals it lush!!

The staff are lovely too, they really look after u. Honest hun it will be ok time will fly as u sleep loads off the GA and then the staff are always in and out.

I know hun, i just worry she will loose one as my grandad is early stages of dimentia. I worry far too much!!

sad but my little pugs are my babies haha!! Plus doug is so naughty for anyone but me lol! He carries my old hoody round with him when imat work lol.

365 babe without a doubt! I really dont want u to be like me and wish u had gone bigger. I didnt have the choice of going bigger than 380 but i regret not pushing for it!! The 20cc wont even be a cupsize hun. So the difference is teeeny.

I honestly think 365 will be fab!! Ladyc has them and they are amazing!! Xxx

I am a worrier too so can understand you worrying about the little pugs!! But you’re gran will be there too, they’ll be fine. You have to enjoy your hol and don’t worry!! Such a shame about your grandad, think that is the worst disease ever!!!! So, you reckon 365 huummmm! Im quite a large b cup now so don’t know, lol! I’ve got both ordered and I think I’ll just tell Mr T to use what he thinks – got a feeling he will use the 365. But yeah if I go 345 and then think they’re too small I’ll be gutted knowing that I could’ve gone 365 won’t I…..

Doug though hes a right mammys boy he follows me everywhere he never leaves me alone, like i say he carries his little comfort blanky round with him, my old hoody haha my bf tries ro take it off him to walk him and he growls haha xxxx

Aww ive got a girl called winnie, shes nearly 1 now! she follows me everywhere when im home! and sleeps so much!! what colours have u got? winnies black but i really want a fawn one next. although all savings going into ‘piggy bank’ at the moment! xx

Awww pugs are the best!! Also i think overs are quicker to heal than unders, im sure thats what my pc said, as me and my friend both got recommended overs xx

a woman i used to work with breeds them, shes got like 10 pugs! i got winnie last year, and another woman i work with got one too. we went on a pug walk about 6 weeks ago and there was literally like 15 pugs running around! they were so noisy, all snorting and panting! they get so much atttention! xx

like fairy says everyones different i had 525cc overs n i was in sooo much pain, i normally deal with pain quite well tbh. The recovery time for overs are alot less than unders though xxxx
