Confused with quote?

Hi, I have been for a consultation in London and the start price was £4250.00 then I got a discount of £400 as I will be a day case and I also did the recomend a friend thing which was a further £150.00 discount. total £3700.00. I wanted to do the late space thing but I have been advised that altough they can fit me in, in january it is not a late space?? Im not sure if this is really the case or she is just trying to get as much money out of me as possible? I cant really afford the £3700.00 but I could just afford it if it droped a few hundred pounds. Lots of people on here seem to have had great offers on their surgery but I seem to be getting charged a higher fee than a lot of people. If anyone has any advice that would be great. i just dont want to be ripped off. cheers xx

Did you tell them you want a late space but you want it to be in january?

Late spaces are usually when they tell you. If you specify a time then your not ‘flexible’

Im paying over £4600 for mine so £3700 sounds good to me..

im paying £3350 as a day case – i had the £500 off voucher but u cant use the voucher (which ran out in november) and the reccomend a friend thing together x

I think for that you have to be open for them to tell you when. I got told they call you when one becomes available. & they try to give you 2 weeks notice.

Im paying extra for larger implants..

If you cant afford it in full they offer finance. I got it for part of mine. 12 months 0% interest

barbie – how come u have to pay more with bigger ones? i thought with mya its the same price for all sizes x

CUI implants only go up to 525cc. Any bigger & you have to get different ones.

I’m paying £3850 coz I’m having a day case. I couldn’t hav the £600 off for late space because I’m havin a 24month interest free finance with MYA. I’m havin mine on Tuesday, I’m a 34b an Havin 380 overs to hopefully b a full D x

ohh! that sounds like what i need. i want to be a D but im a saggy B at the moment from loosing weight, i already have a loan with a different company but i only got one for 3500 as i was going to go with a different company but they turned out to be rubbish, i was just hoping that i would be able to get it a bit cheaper than it is. did you do the recomend a friend thing to get 150.00 discount? xx

Did you tell MYA that.. Maybe if they know you only havw £3500 they will let you. Either that or go elsewhere… Im sure they will say yes lol

Yeh I’m sure they will do something to accomadate u coz I needed £1000 deposit for mine coz i was havin that loan with them by I could only afford £500 on week an £500 the other an they sed that would b fine x

Hi hun..I had my consultation with my pc a few wks ago and she said the starting price is £4250. If u r a day case it is then 3850, then if u hav a late date space it can be up to £600 0ff too.. setting it to £ 3300 ish. A few girls on the forum have also said they have had theirs at this price too but it’s not guaranteed! Sorry if I have this info wrong to anyone else reading this, but this is what I was told?? Anyone else had theirs for £3300??

Forgot to mention u can’t have the friend recommendation discount aswell as the late date space discount, it’s either one or the other. So maybe mention u only want the late date space instead? At least it’s a bit more off? I will ask my pc again tmrw!

Another thing about the late space offer is that they only accept the late space offer within the current month…i.e if I wanted the BA late space discount offer, they will only give me discount if I am available for a December late space only… not January. And, in Janaury if I opted for Janauary BA late space offer then the same applies. Hope that makes sense. I spoke to MYA earlier and they explained it to me. xxx

I don’t want to ask a stupid question, but can you actually ask that they take some off the price for you, eg haggle, or would this seem rude? I generally feel uncomfortable asking for a discount on anything, but just wasn’t sure if that’s what you girls were meaning (eg on top of same day and referal disounts, asking if they can round the price off).

You can always ask but I think they are pretty set on their prices.

They can’t do it for one and not the other.

You can’t use two offers together (e.g. the late space & recommend a friend / recommend a friend and £500 discount).

Surely it is the overal results that matter. I know the cost is a big thing… but its about the aftercare you receive and the surgeon you have doing the op.

This isnt a money spinner for them – this is private surgery after all.

Hi guys, can you get money off because mya was recommended by a friend to you? Or do you have to do the recommending and recommend them to someone else? I don’t know anyone else that would have surgery. x
