Considering breast reduction at 20

I’m 20 years old and I’m considering getting a breast reduction. I’ve had quite big boobs for my size since I was 13 and it’s always been an insecurity as it’s so annoying to find clothes that fit my body and it makes it uncomfortable to exercise or wear certain things without people staring or making comments. I would be so much more comfortable with a smaller chest that’s more proportionate to the rest of my body – I am a size 10/12 and wear a 32GG/H at the moment. I am still young but I have wanted to have smaller boobs for years and am thinking now might be the time to do it. Has anyone else had a breast reduction at a younger age and would either recommend it or advise waiting longer?

Hello! I’m 25 and I wish I had it done sooner! Although mine was just a mastopexy and a very small reduction probably only 1/2 cup going from E to DD. But still it was the best thing I’ve ever done and I’m only 3 weeks post op. If you are thinking about it now I would just say to take the plunge and do it. I have no kids either so mine was just purely because I want them to look better in outfits. X

I was about that age when I had mine and it’s one of the best things I did. Had all the same insecurities as you so it’s worth it. Plus hopefully recovery will be easier to bounce back from!
